Nothing to complain about. Great spot and reasonable pricing model. Decent local German restaurant/bar on site. Get a good bang for your buck. Obviously not the most luxurious spot in town. But a great historic place and nice hosts. Would definitely recommend it for a overnight stay in that area if you are on a tight budget. Thank you.

Central location, clean rooms, value for money

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Mainzer Tor, where we stayed 1 night on our way back from France to Denmark. You access the room by getting a code to access the key and the room was super clean and comfortable. The Pension is located smack in the middle of the old, historic and picturesque Alsfeld which offers great atmosphere and dining options. Breakfast is available just accross the street in the old bakery. We found a chaging station for our electric car 5 mins away from the Pension. The remote control for the TV did not work but that is all we can complain about. We'll use this place also next year.

Its a hostel you share bathroom with other people,
street parking, far from everything, didn't even sleep here I booked somewhere else.

Bra trevligt bemötande och info om parkering 100m bort.
Rummet perfekt mkt fint badrum.
Enda minus är den branta trappan upp till rummen.
Nedervån är restaurang där vi hade en mkt bra middag, inredning i traditionell tysk stil.
