Quiet and friendly place

In the Humboldt-Haus I spent two nights, sleeping very well in a room not large but clean and quiet, and with a nice view of the surrounding countryside. Good bed and a large table to write and use the pc. No luxuries, but all pleasant and more than adequate for the price.
Beautiful the large veranda where you can have breakfast, but there is also an outdoor terrace for when temperatures rise. They were preparing the pool, which I think is very pleasant in summer. Friendly and helpful staff. Ultimately a place to return.

very bad, old furniture and not clean. Unpleasant

Very old room (from the 60´s) and bathroom without any amenities. We got a room in the basement with old staff in the room and wet smell. Holes in the mosquitos protection llayer in the windows. Poor light in the bathroom from the 60´s, Very expensive for the poor accomodation. No TV, no phone in the room, poor wifi in the roon. absolutelly of mode hotel.unpleasant toilet.

A little gem in a quiet location - perfect for those touring Europe

I stayed here as part of an Alpine driving holiday in June
It took a bit of finding with our distinctly average maps, but we were greeted with nice grounds and a swimming pool!
The reception was a bit frosty. The rooms were clean and basic. Breakfast was continental style (although due to excessive German beer the night before I didn't make the most of this)
During our stay there was a local Beer/music festival only 5 minutes walk from the hotel which really made our night!
This is a good base for exploring Achberg only 6 miles away

Tagungshaus

ich habe das Humboldthaus wegen der schönen Lage und dem Pool ausgewählt.
Es handelt sich um ein Tagungshaus. Mit "normalen" Gästen werden nur die Zimmer belegt, die nicht für Tagungen benötigt werden.
Die Tagungsgäste sind leider - jedenfalls bei meinem Auenthalt - gewöhungsbedürftig. Laute Musik aus der mitgebrachten Anlage, Stimmumg und Laustärke wie beim Teenieausflug nach Lloret de Mar. Ein freilaufender Hund im Frühstücksraum. Für mich eher nichts. Schade, die Lage ist wirklich schön.

Ältere Unterkunft

Unterkunft sehr einfach aber sauber ….etwas älteres Haus
Frühstück soweit gut….für eine Nacht passt es … Zimmer Bett -Tisch-Schrank- 2 Stühle
Kein Radio oder Fernseher.
Etwas merkwürdig das man gleich bei der Ankunft bezahlen muss…..
