Hostellerie du Luberon doesn't exist anymore

This Hotel doesn't exist anymore under this name. Now ist called La Réserve Provence. The owners are very handsome, and the hotel is completely restyled in a beautiful Loberon style, with Ibiza lounge terras. Swimmingpool is also restyled. If you have the chance, go there, it's a lovely establishment, with a lot of luxus! We wil come here again!

Lovely stay in quiet surroundings

The hotel and its grounds are lovely and tucked away making you feel like you are staying at true Provence guest house but with convenience of amenities close by. The service is nice, welcoming and helpful. There is possibility to park your car or store and charge your electric bike. The pool is not huge but clean and placed in the garden among greenery making you feel very private and relaxing. Rooms probably need some updating nevertheless are very clean and comfortable. Didn't try their restaurant but their menu sounds lovely. Definitely would stay again

Stay here for the excellent restaurant and pleasant location

This hotel is in a quiet residential street leading from a small and beautiful ancient village. Rooms on the garden side look out over the rural Durance valley. There is hardly any traffic noise during the night from the winding D road below, on its approach to the village. The hotel is at a convenient driving distance for guests
arriving on an early afternoon flight into Marseille airport. There is a medium-sized private car park. Attractive old villages can easily be visited on a day trip, including Cucuron, Ansouis with its church under the castle bastion, and Lourmarin with its interesting restored castle and possibly its somewhat sporting pass road over the Luberon to Bonnieux and Lacoste. The proprietor was very solicitous and helpful, though we lacked competence in each other's spoken language.
The highlight of this hotel was its excellent cuisine, both at dinner and at the buffet breakfast. At dinner, there was just the Menu de Degustation, which gave a mis en bouche, followed by a starter, a main course and a dessert, each chosen at will from the à la carte menu, for 35 euros. The price was higher than we normally pay in Logis, but was very well worth it. For example, one of us one evening had excellent foie gras with pineapple conserve, followed by a large and juicy fillet of sandre with
herb butter and 'rocket pesto', followed by the best crème brûlée ever. The hotel very helpfully puts its current menu on its website. We had an excellent red wine from vineyards just beyond Cucuron, the next village, for a very reasonable price.
Breakfast was a lavish buffet, with excellent cooked meats and cheeses, with good breads and possibly homemade jams and cakes. Certainly the best of our holiday.
As is sometimes the case in Logis with excellent restaurants, our room was adequate, but not outstanding. In our twin room there was not much space to stand up from the beds without colliding with either a wall or the window. The plumbing worked on use of patience. The bathroom was designed with impractical wooden furnishing, with a shelf with insufficient height above it for toothbrushes to stand up. I therefore give the hotel 4 stars rather than five, but would certainly be happy to stay there again if we revisit this part of France.

Excellent Service

Rooms simple but clean and comfortable with modern plumbing fixtures near Lavender fields. Pleasant restaurant and patio seating. Next town has huge raised fish pond with restaurants on one side. Nice pool.

Good value for a stopover in the region

Rooms were spotless and airco functioning, parking space alongside and in front of the hotel. It sits on a quiet street so it's very peaceful at night. Reception amicable. All in all good value for a few days in the region (Ansouis, Cucurron).
Only bum notes were the weird pool hours (closed in the afternoon and after 19:30) and the wifi that was down the entire weekend we were there, although it was back up when we left Monday morning. Can't comment on the restaurant, but the breakfast was very decent.
