A jewel of a place to stay.

A beautiful charming ancient family house, originally a hunting lodge with period furniture and paintings. Very comfortable and clean. A very warm helpful and friendly welcome from the owner and a fantastic breakfast. An absolute jewel. A memorable stop over on the way home around 1 hour and 15 minutes from the ferry if Roscoff. Safe parking in the grounds. A place to return to.

A leap in time!!!

The residence and the rooms take a step back in time, but with all the comforts of today. Very comfortable bed. Enjoy your breakfast. Internal private parking. Cost €100 + 1.30 for the tourist tax Benedicte is really courteous and helpful.

Traditional Manor House with lovely hostess in the centre of St Brieuc

This is the second time we have used Maison de Benedicte. The House is a traditional old French Manor House with beautiful antique furniture, with the rooms wonderfully decorated. They are well equipped as is the bathroom. Spotlessly clean. On arrival Madame Benedicte offered us a cup of tea and chatted with us. Very welcoming.
We had to leave her place very early (6:30am) but she prepared a fantastic breakfast with home made plum jam and traditional Breton cake amongst other goodies. It really is a unique place to go. We will definitely go there again ourselves.

WOnderful house, wonderful host

A stately home of an aristocratic family. Comfortable rooms, excellent reception by Benedicte who is truly interested in having you in her home. Excellent bathroom with copious hot water. Garden and common rooms are beautiful.
