BEAUTIFUL IN APPEARANCE ONLY
First of all, we had booked a room with a sea view. In reality, the sea was only visible in the distance, which is far from the idea one might have of a true "sea view" room. The room was certainly spacious, but also very noisy, which is not acceptable in an establishment of this category.
The most regrettable point concerns our anniversary dinner. We had reserved a table at the restaurant for 8:30 PM. At 9:15 PM, no one had yet come to take our order, not even to offer us an aperitif. When a waiter finally arrived, he was visibly in great difficulty, his shirt being completely soaked with sweat, a presentation that absolutely does not correspond to the standards expected in a 5-star hotel. He simply asked us if we had chosen our menu, before explaining to us that the staff was doing their best but that management was not giving them the necessary resources.
Faced with this situation and this obvious lack of organization, we decided to leave the restaurant without dining. For our wedding anniversary, we had to take our car back in order to find a restaurant outside the establishment.
We understand that the staff may be faced with difficulties. However, the general organization, the lack of supervision, and the quality of service are clearly below the expectations one can legitimately have for a hotel displaying five stars.
This experience unfortunately does not correspond to the level of service advertised and leaves us deeply disappointed for such an important occasion.
