A week in the clouds!

I spent a week at this awesome hidden gem and could not be happier with the accommodations. This beautiful old house has been restored and upgraded to provide you with the comforts of a new place yet keeping the nostalgic look of the stone and wood built home. The hosts, Japp and Ahmed went out of their way to always make you feel welcomed and at home. The food was fantastic and abundant. I do suggest to notify them in advance of your arrival of any dietary needs or restrictions so they can be ready and update their shopping list. Yes, that's right! They provide their guests with home cooked meals with locally harvested products from the region.
All and all, a wonderful experience. I can't wait to come back with my wife so she can experience this great place.

Perfect Location, Hosts and Accomodations

Lovely location, outstanding hosts, very comfortable rooms, delicious food. We were booked in for one night while walking in the area. We could have stayed for days. It was a wonderful respite from hiking, and loved the other guests we met there. A real gem, and highlight of our trip.

Gracious hosts, beautiful setting

We loved our time with Ahmed and Jaap. They have created a beautiful place and they have also created an environment where their guests get to know them and each other. Ahmed’s food is delicious. We found it very hard to leave the view over the valley. It is an interesting area as well with little towns, lakes, walks nearby.
I can only second what my wife wrote, I found it hard to leave, this is the France of my dreams

Fantastic stay!!

What an incredible experience we had this summer with Jaap and Ahmed. The house and room are beautiful and the food is excellent. We are from NYC and prefer the Ritz Carlton so you can imagine how picky we are!! ;-) Most of all our hosts were both so kind, helpful, generous and so fun to be with! We would recommend Art et Creation for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the beautiful french countryside. And be sure to visit the home of the Marquis de LaFayette which is quite close by!

We enjoyed our stay at Art et Creation. Our friendly hosts had a pleasant way of being there when needed and served a savory meal when wanted. The house was well decorated as well as the surroundings.
