Deplorable experience – Hotel to avoid absolutely

During my stay at the Couett Hotel Rumilly I was faced with totally unacceptable conditions. The condition of the establishment leaves much to be desired: damaged furniture, linen and waste left outside, giving the impression of neglect and abandonment.
People certainly reside year-round in the hotel and squat in the halls. We had to cross them to get to our room.
I specify that we were staying on the back rooms and that tourists welcomed in front do not see the “hidden side”
But the worst part was the room, which showed obvious signs of unhealthiness:
- Used objects (toothbrush and razor left in the room)
- Mould in the shower
- Toothpaste and other stains on the ground, proving insufficient cleaning
- Broken siphon generating bad odors
- Locks crafted with absorbent paper compromising safety
- Garbage bin full of dust and broken
Cobwebs, evidence of long neglected maintenance
- air conditioning out of service with just a message "sorry for the inconvenience"
My children feeling so insecure we slept at 4 in the room.
When I reported these problems to Booking their only response was to advise me to consult the opinions of other guests before making a reservation on the site and offer me a 15% discount, which is totally insufficient given the lack of quality control on the properties listed on their platform.
I strongly advise against this hotel, which does not respect any standard of hygiene and safety and I am also very disappointed with Booking’s lack of responsiveness to this issue.

LEAK!THE KEYS ARE PASS!!

The managers wanted to repay us the reservation already paid online which already seemed suspicious.
But the WORST remains the doors of the rooms which are all PASS ....you can freely access the neighboring room we had to call the GENDARMERIE to have a refund

To avoid

Only hotel in Rumilly and yet to be avoided. The reception is very basic. The room is okay at first glance, but, oh! surprise, a magnificent bug on the ceiling. The manager didn't even look surprised and didn't even apologize. Having no other solutions, we stayed 4 nights, but during this period, the cleaning was not done, the sheets were not changed as well as the towels. In short, RUN.

Mediocre!!!

Arriving on the evening of the 15th, we discovered our room which was generally rather clean. I had reserved this room by phone, the owner or manager asked me if we wanted breakfast, I said yes for 8 Euros per person! The next morning we had to take a class with my friend at 9:30 a.m. so at 8:30 a.m. we saw a housekeeper we asked her where the breakfast room was, she told me no breakfast planned this morning, except I gave her the my room number and that I had paid for breakfast so we wish it. She couldn't do anything for me she didn't bother to call her director or manager the number was posted on the door I called the person in question who took my reservation FORGOTTEN to mention it, she's coming so to make our competition breakfast!
A compote each, a madeleine each, a fruit juice each and a pastry each for €8. I expressed my dissatisfaction to this one who asked me why?
Because paying for not having breakfast is not admissible and we were in a hurry to take our course at 9:30 a.m. Fortunately this manager was responsive enough to do it for us but a great lack of organization and communication

Very basic and 2 miles from town with no taxi or bus available

Cheap and very basic. Our room smelt damp. We booked because it had a bar and restaurant. Neither were open and meant we had to go to the town center. After a long motocycle ride we did not want to get back on the bikes and wanted a beer. Breakfast was good with a wide selection.
