Great small hotel nothing is a hassle

We chose this hotel through an EasyJet package..We were not disappointed..Luiz checked us in and offered and gave us some very good info of local places etc to eat..So please ask for any info..I had also previously asked if I could get a happy 60th banner in the room and it was no problem at all..Ever so helpful..Yes other reviews have said the rooms are small..I upgraded to a wee balcony room so got to sit outside for a bit when returning as it was very warm..Rooms are small(not in them for long tho) Bathroom was good and the toiletries smelled amazing..Cleaning of the room was top notch as were the public areas too..It’s situated between 2 metro stations if you are not a walker!! It was a half hour walk or just a bit less to Notre Dame and not much further to St Chappelle and the Louvre etc..Weather was great so didn’t mind the walking..Can’t comment on hotel food as we were room only but have to say it did smell delish when we were going out in the morning..You get bottles of water in your room which was a nice touch..And here’s a wee tip..We put our cans of juice and water on the balcony over night which kept them cool for the morning And during our stay it was my other half’s 60th birthday and wow the hotel did NOT disappoint..A wee message on the lift mirror and a display in the room which I did not expect..I only expected the banner..Thank you again to the hotel for arranging this, making it a bit more special for him..If returning to Paris I will certainly be rebooking here again..

Lovely hotel

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the lobby area is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are small, but very cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was large and very comfortable, which made our stay even better. The location is excellent , close to lots of restaurants, shops and the metro. A lovely hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay!

Another brilliant experience at this hotel!

This is my fifth stay at le general and this time with my two teenage boys as a family. We had another amazing stay here. The location is so convenient to a wide range of fantastic local restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel are superb, exceptionally professional and very friendly/welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable, pristine and chic. We all loved it as it is so relaxed and fun - the boys loved playing the PlayStation in the commmunal area while my husband and I had a drink at the bar before going out to dinner, highly recommend. Luiz and his team are exceptional and deserve brilliant reviews. They know how to run a lovely boutique hotel like this. Bravo,

Perfect staying

Hotel Review
I had a wonderful stay at Le Général Hôtel in Paris. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located. It is only about a 3-minute walk from République metro station, which made getting around Paris extremely easy.
Everything about the stay was excellent, and the hotel itself is very stylish and welcoming. A special thank you to Louise, who was very friendly and helpful on my first day and made me feel welcome right from the beginning.
I would definitely recommend Le Général Hôtel and would happily stay here again!

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is nice and clean. We stayed for five lights for family vacation. This hotel will be our first choice when we come to Paris in future.
