I strongly recommend this hotel
Unmaintained hotel that deserves serious renovation. Hygiene problems are to be noted: bed bugs, mould around windows and in a fridge, very basic cleaning see absent in places, clogged bidet, floor slat detached, flaking paint, poorly fixed and incomplete sockets, request ID card to make photocopies which is prohibited by law. We asked to change rooms twice,

Run away!
Scam. I booked the hotel via Booking about 1 week before my arrival. I was debited the next day. The same morning of the booking, they cancelled (due to over-booking) and since then I could not be refunded for the night I could not make at their house. The hotel tells me to contact Booking and Booking (which only responds by AI) tells me that my Booking Number does not exist (probably because it has been cancelled). And I'm not talking about the fact that I had to take over a hotel at the last minute twice the price I already paid. Run away! Both the MEDIA Hotel and Booking: we are not replacing human dialogue with AI!!!

Bed bugs
I would like to share my experience during my stay in a hotel in Paris. Prior to my arrival, I had read several comments indicating the presence of bedbugs in the facility. In order to avoid any risk, I contacted the manager several times to ask if there were any bedbugs in the hotel. At each call, he assured me that this was not the case. I even asked e-Booking, through which I had booked, to intervene to verify this information. The institution confirmed to them that there were no problems.
However, once there, after settling into the room with my two-year-old child, I discovered what appeared to be traces of bedbugs. My child and I were stung in several places. Noting the situation and deeply concerned, I decided to leave the hotel immediately.
So at two o’clock in the morning, I found myself on the street in Paris, with no housing solution and an infant child. I asked for a refund, but it was denied at the time, which left me without the resources to immediately find another accommodation.
This experience was very difficult, stressful and trying, especially since I had taken all possible precautions before my arrival. My goal is simply to recount what I experienced, in the hope that it can be heard and that appropriate measures are taken to prevent it from happening to other people.

Medium hotel with good cost benefit
The hotel Media has a good location and price, but it is old.
There's no air conditioning, just a fan and the fridge bar didn't work well.
There are metro stations nearby, supermarket and several restaurants.
Basically a hotel to sleep in.

Just about Okay.
We booked 2 nights in room 102.
This is a budget hotel and although I was dissapointed with our room on arrival, the hotel had some good bits, so I shall list both.
The bed was comfy and sheets / pillows clean.
Sleep quality was very good and noise minimal.
Fridge in room
2 generous heaters that make the room cosy if required
Access to metro great and there are good restaurants and grocery stores very close.
Neighbourhood safe and well lit.
The bad bits ...
No hair dryer
No tea/coffee making equipment
The towels were hard, old and grubby
Bad mould in bathroom, mostly around windows
The bath hot tap constantly tickled with water
Main lights didn't work, only bedside lamps so very poor lighting
General dirt / grubby feel, needs a deep clean
Although a small token soap and shampoo sachet was left, it wasn't adequate
Would I stay here again?
No but I think if you're on a tight budget, lower your expectations and this place should be okay.
