Terrible.

The only real plus point of this property is the location, being located in the heart of Paris. Unfortunately, otherwise, the experience was decidedly negative. The environment in general is very dirty, starting from the rooms: in ours we found for the duration of the stay dirty and stained sheets, pillowcases and towels, certainly not from us. The floor has never been swept even once and, in all probability, not even washed, since the shoe tracks remained visibly on the ground day after day. The management and cleanliness of the room were really lacking: on arrival we found the safe locked and, after kindly asking (in French) to use it, we were told that it would be fixed the next day, which however never happened, forcing us to spend the entire stay without a safe.
Another very disappointing aspect is the breakfast: buffet and basket on the table are barely passable, with a still low quality even for packaged products. Even more serious is the lack of attention to the hygiene of the room: next to us a child had vomited and the breakfast lady, after looking at the dirt, told the family that she would not clean, forcing the child’s mother to do it herself. All this during breakfast time. In addition, the same lady felt entitled to emit a thunderous burp before entering the kitchen, a decidedly unprofessional behavior. In addition, there is no room for everyone for breakfast so the staff make people sit at the table with other people (like crowded autogrill) or on the lobby sofa without a table and with the seat pierced.
Noteworthy, in an ironic sense, is the elevator, which stops halfway up the floors and has an extremely limited load capacity. The room even lacked the light bulb of the lamp, making it unusable, while the bathroom light works by sensor and turns off while inside. Dust is present everywhere: above the bedside table, inside the closet and even above the bathroom console. The heating consists of a stove on and off directly by customers, since the radiator obviously does not work; it makes you wonder what the situation might be like during the summer. Let's not forget that WiFi is there but never goes even at night and that for how many emails you can send no one answers, even if you contact for a quote. The famous "luggage storage" also stated on the site instead consists of leaving luggage unattended in the lobby.
Overall, it is a hotel suitable only for those with very little pretension, a lot of adaptability and great initiative. A choice only possible if the central location is the only real requirement.

Theft of Personal Property

I had a very disappointing experience after my stay. Shortly after checking out, I realized I had accidentally left two rings in my room: a discontinued Gucci ring worth over $1,000 on the resale market and a one-of-a-kind koa wood ring with significant sentimental value.
I contacted the hotel immediately, and they confirmed that both rings had been found. They requested my contact information and assured me that a manager would arrange to have them shipped back to me.
That was over two months ago.
Since then, I have sent multiple emails and made several international phone calls. Every time I call, I am told that a manager will contact me, but no one ever does. My emails have gone unanswered, and despite acknowledging that they have my property, the hotel has made no effort to return it.
I understand that mistakes happen, but completely ignoring a guest after confirming possession of valuable personal belongings is unacceptable. If the hotel resolves this matter and returns my rings, I will gladly update this review to reflect that.

Room very small and without ac bath-room small and stinky. Room accessible by a very difficult stair or by a small elevator not always working. Many sorrounding noises do not let you sleep good. Breakfast was not bad. Neighborhood was nice.

Run away!!! Catastrophic. Mold in the room. Heating failed.

Hotel bordering on denunciation to hygiene services. Our room, the 203, had only a single-glazed frame that allows air and outside noise to pass through. Extremely noisy elevator when opening its doors. Non-existent isolation. We had to buy earplugs to try to rest a little. The walls under the window are impregnated with mold, the cast iron radiator does not heat up and icing on the cake discovered 2 live cockroaches that walked one in the bathroom and the other along the baseboard of the room. Breakfast is not inventive or much fresh produce. The staff is very friendly but this does not compensate for the catastrophic experience. One of the janitors allows himself to smoke at his station which pollutes the ambient air while I am non-smoker. Breakfast room too small which imposes waiting for the release of a table. Draughts coming from the side walls that ice you during breakfast while outside it was - 1 to 3°C. The only positive is its location in relation to the Gare du Nord and access to the Grands Boulevards.

I chose this hotel for a cheap, basic one nights stay close to the Gare du Nord.
I was completely satisfied, it was about a 10 minute walk from the station. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and basic and perfect for my requirements.
Continental Breakfast was included in my room rate and again was no frills but more than adequate.
I would stay here again.
