Practicsl locstion, nice staff, cute room
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel as I was treated nicely (very friendly staff at the reception) and could even check in early. The room was cute in its practical design and included aircon, hairdryer, kettle (with complimentary coffee/tea). I found the bed comfortable and slept well - also because the window opened to a small inner courtyard.
I gound the breakfast quite good for French breakfast standard and there was plenty of bread & ctoussants, juices, cheese, jams etc.
The location was central: 7min ftom Gare du Nord (where the trains ftom the airport CDG arrive) and 2min from Gare de l'Est. There were plenty of restaurants, fast food restaurants and shops around.

Convenient but very basic small hotel. Staff are friendly and location is good (near metro) but room was very small and outdated.

Service desert Hotel d Alsace.
We were in this hotel for 2 nights with a group of approx. 70 people. On the first evening, there was no more beer left after 1 hour and they were unable to provide a restock. The rooms were unbearably warm and there was no drinking water. Although there was a sign for a water dispenser in the basement, there were neither glasses nor other containers available for getting water.
On the 2nd evening, the beer ran out after 5 minutes. There was nothing else to drink either. At exactly 11:00 PM, the closing of the bar was announced. With the exclamation "the bar is closing now," the staff behind the reception desk laughed together. We really felt like we were being made fools of! That has never happened to me before. We had announced our presence in the bar the previous evening because we wanted to watch a soccer game. Over half of the group then went to bed thirsty before the end of the game. The rooms were not cleaned during our stay and no towels were changed.
On the 2nd evening, the beer ran out after 5 minutes. There was nothing else to drink either. At exactly 11:00 PM, the closing of the bar was announced. With the exclamation "the bar is closing now," the staff behind the reception desk laughed together. We really felt like we were being made fools of! That has never happened to me before. Theft in the room! Total disgust
One star is a gift; you should close tomorrow and stop buying reviews on booking.
Shame, WE WERE ROBBED IN THE ROOM, a THEFT! They entered and even took away the dirty clothes. I am not listing the stolen goods here, but I WONDER, DID THE CLEANING LADY, WHEN SHE ENTERED AND FOUND THE ROOM WITH ITEMS ON THE FLOOR, PRETEND TO CLEAN AROUND THEM? Rude, the boorish manager, arrogant, impolite, even kept the money for our stay, and we had to pay to stay elsewhere because our child and we were terrified at the thought of sleeping there..
I have videos, photos, a police report, and emails sent to the hotel.
DO NOT GO!
No cleaning, the tea station was glued to the shelf, filthy floor, bathroom without a fan and door (reported and not fixed), the entrance door did not close properly and still had a key and handle like in the antique era.. Location? Near the Gare de l'Est station, somewhat unsafe, and indeed we were robbed.. Oh, I almost forgot, 24-hour reception, where were you while the lady was entering to steal? What you saw is what you showed us in the video from your cameras.

Once again, we would like to apologize for this situation, which we deeply regret.
The theft did indeed take place on our hotel in the morning about 11 h32. A teenager girl come with a small group who would like to ley their luggage waiting for their rooms. Then we saw via cameras that she went to toilet hen upstairs to floors. This time is checkout time, we receive arrivals with their luggage at the same time .Our reception was crowded with arrivals and departures, so we are unfortunately not able to supervise or control more than 80 persons in our hotel. That is why; you should close your door and you put valuable objects in your safe whenever you leave your room. This event can happen in any hotel! Some clients inside the hotel can go through open rooms! We have therefore showed you videos the moment of leaving your room and you see that you did not close the door. In addition, we showed you the theft girl who tried the first floor first before getting to the second floor where you got your room. . We cannot judge why you did not close your room. Any way we have provided you with the video footage so that you can file a police report and initiate an insurance claim to secure compensation.
Please note that you remain in contact with our insurance provider, which is awaiting a formal claim for a specific amount from your own insurer.

Room was clean and tidy although the shower set up left a lot to be desired. No matter what you did the entire floor beyond the shower area would be soaked.
If you have a lot of luggage and aren't travelling alone you will need to make multiple trips in the lift. I have never been in one so small before in my life...it was maybe 2ftx3ft, so you can get 1 large case and 1 person in it at a time. Location was convenient to the stations and a metro stop is less than 50m away.
Breakfast was basic but tasty.
If you have a lot of luggage and aren't travelling alone you will need to make multiple trips in the lift. Location was convenient to the stations and a metro stop is less than 50m away.
