It was Louisiana/Texas weather when we visited and we really appreciated the A/C system in the hotel. Probably one of the best cooling we've had in the city. The rooms were are sized well for Euro standards and clean. Not much amenities in the room, but they give us a bottle of wine - no water, but a bottle of wine. The hotel is conveniently located - close to the things you may need while in Europe (There's a Monoprix close by in the event you lose your luggage and need to shop for basics). We can see ourselves booking this hotel again in future visits.

Nothing like the website

The hotel was basic, I booked the triple room but the room was nothing like the picture on the website! Obviously the pictures are very old as I think the hotel could do with a repaint inside and out. The court yard was also nothing like the pictures! It was in need of a paint and a revamp! The staff were friendly, the area was central and felt safe. I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

I had some mixed feelings about this hotel. When I was booking, one the things that really sold me was that hotel was advertised as a “ rare find “ stating that they had an airport shuttle. Come to find out, it just meant that the front desk can arrange a taxi for you, which I was told was about 60 euros. ( we ended up taking Uber for 40 euros). On the day of our arrival our train was running late, so I called the hotel. Front desk person said that we need to check in by midnight not providing any options if we don’t make the cut off time. Both those factors were off putting. We did make it in before midnight and our stay was nice. Complementary bottle of wine was a part of our amenities, the AC worked really well and the room had mini fridge ( which I was not aware until the checkout because it was not listed during booking). Room was a little outdated and dingy but had its charm. You can purchase breakfast in a very cool basement breakfast area ( typical Paris hotel breakfast-croissants, cheese, ham, coffee from the multi option coffee machine and you can poach your own eggs). It is very close to the Bastille monument, which I highly recommend viewing at night.

Superb location and lovely typical French Paris hotel. Perfect room for 2 nights and very comfortable and pleasant and lovely friendly staff

Very satisfied

Although small, the room is functional, clean, and comfortable. Air conditioning very much appreciated. Very good breakfast. Great location for the quietness of the street and its position in the Marais.
