Lovely hotel in a great location a few steps away from Rome metro station. The perfect base for visiting Paris.

Great value hotel in a very pleasant, quiet yet central location. The rooms are a good size for a Paris city centre hotel and newly renovated. We walked to Montmartre via the Moulin Rouge. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd definitely go back - in fact we're already planning a visit in October! Thank you to Isabelle, Farid and all the team.

Currently under construction

The rooms are under construction and some rooms are not totally complete. There are construction workers in the building carrying tools and equipment on the elevator during the day. The carpet has construction dust and drywall on the stairs.
The breakfast area was located at -1 or -2 level. The selection was good. The person who runs it is not very friendly.
The reception people went above and beyond to try to resolve any issues to the best of their abilities made up for the negative construction situation. Specifically, they were Max, Florence and Sasha. They were true professionals!
Isabelle, the manager was very apologetic and wrote us a nice note and gave us some sweets and cookies. She did the best she could and changed us to a finished room when we were first put into an unfinished room.
The hotel is conveniently located in a neighborhood easily accessible to restaurants, stores, shopping and transportation.
This will be a nice hotel when it is completed. Until then, be aware of the situation.

Dusty paint smell construction site hotel

This hotel is a construction site undergoing a refurbishment..still taking on bookings while construction wokers r busy all day inside the hotel.
The elevatpr is tiny
Hotel smells of paint and is full of construction dust.
Room had paint patches Nd damp patches all ove ron walls.
There is a hig scafokding fence outaide hotel front door.blockin uber and taxi pick up.
Receptionist gave me a room of eiffel tower..but was very unhelpful..she refused to give me wifi code kept sayin looki n lift or look outaide lift and the was no wifi code there.next day receptionist Rubi was great v helpful..gave me wifi code and was helpgul with using uber and bolt and info about touring paris.v pleasant and professional.she said other recdptionist made mistake with wifi code being avail in lift and outside lift.
Hotel is next to train station..can hear trains.in the bedroom.
I dont recommend this hotel..maybe when construction is finished it will be a better hotel.not worth the price now.
Breakfast is in a basement.staff is 1 lady not helpful or cleaning up tables to make them available.

Fabulous hotel in a great part of Paris

This is the third time I have stayed at the Hotel Berne Opera and I hope it won't be the last. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and a lovely neighbourhood with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to e.g. Montmartre, the Arc de Triomphe, Park Monceau, and very close to the Rome metro station for venturing further afield. We felt very welcome. There is some renovation work going on at the moment but it didn't impact on our stay at all. Highly recommended.

Well...

In works but a fairly large room for three people and in good condition and breakfast also very small but everything and with good Wi-Fi near opera
