Absolutely brilliant stay!

We visited in early June 2026 and WOW! We requested a superior room with balcony and it was great! The hotel rooms was beautiful, newly decorated and very clean. We were really pleased with the balcony which was brilliant for taking some pictures! The staff were kind and attentive from the moment we arrived. Free coffee in the morning (including decaf!) was a big favourite. Super location if you're travelling on the Eurostar! We will definitely be back - thank you!

We recently stayed at Hotel Avalon Cosy in Paris. The biggest positives were the location just a few minutes' walk from Gare du Nord and the staff, who were exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They are a real credit to the hotel.
Unfortunately, the room didn't reflect the £190 per night price. It was very small, with an uninspiring view, and felt tired and in need of refurbishment. There was damp, peeling paint, cracks in the walls, a loose door, and areas that looked like unfinished repairs. The bathroom was tiny, and the TV didn't work during our stay. The complimentary slippers were a nice touch.
The biggest disappointment came after our stay. We booked through Hotels.com on a "pay on arrival" rate, yet the hotel charged what appeared to be a no-show/cancellation fee, despite us having checked in and stayed at the hotel. The issue was eventually resolved, but it caused unnecessary stress and left a disappointing final impression.
Overall, the excellent location and wonderful staff couldn't make up for the condition of the room and the payment issue. With some refurbishment and better administration, this hotel could be much improved.

Avalon Cosy Hotel

Super friendly staff and an excellent reception team made the stay feel welcoming. The location couldn’t be better. Rooms are a bit small and housekeeping could use a little improvement, but everything was generally fine. Breakfast was average, but the overall experience was still enjoyable.

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly . The room was cosy which we did expect but could do with some touching up.
Very noisy at night if have window open which was necessary in high temperatures. No air con. Sirens constantly going off nearby. Unfortunately people in room above were quite noisy at night showering at midnight/ 1am and generally moving things around which is another thing to factor in.
Take the top floor if staying.
Close to monmartre area , 3 miles to Eiffel Tower.
One bonus very close to train north train station .

Lovely hotel in a perfect location if you want to be close to the Garde du Nord for the eurostar. Breakfast buffet was very nice and very reasonably priced. Would stay again
