More about Jardins Secrets
Jardins Secrets
This 18-century coaching inn, now a boutique hotel, is located in Nîmes, hidden in a secret flowered garden. It offers an outdoor pool surrounded by a Mediterranean-style garden with olive, orange and palm trees as well as a marble fountain.

What stood out most was the constant upselling of basic things that would normally be included or handled more graciously at a luxury hotel. Breakfast was expensive for what was offered, with additional charges even for simple egg dishes. We also found the food menu surprisingly limited, with several items unavailable during our stay.
One moment that really left a bad impression was being told we could not have a simple glass of tap water by the pool after already ordering drinks, lunch, and bottled water throughout the day. It made the experience feel unnecessarily transactional rather than welcoming.
The property itself is charming, but luxury hospitality is about attention to detail, generosity, and making guests feel comfortable. Sadly, that aspect was missing for us, and had we known beforehand that others had similar experiences, we likely would have stayed elsewhere.

Individual and exclusive is how I would describe it.
They advertise and have a lovely spa which is an extra cost.
They don't have a restaurant but do provide a small plates menu.
Personally I loved it and the staff were exceptional.
Very good location
