Excellent hotel and staff. Rooms are large and spacious with great shower and lot's of room and storage. Excellent working AC as well. Has two elevators, great spacious lobby and friendly staff. The pool was great too. Great location short walk from old Nice, beach and the "tourist core"

Comfortable Room in a Perfect Location, With a Few Drawbacks

We recently stayed at Hotel Nice Riviera and overall found it to be a convenient base for exploring Nice. The location is excellent, everything from the old town to the seafront is within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a full day sightseeing. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.
However, there were a few issues that meant, for us, it didn’t quite feel like a true four-star experience. The air conditioning was very ineffective, so the room stayed uncomfortably warm, especially overnight, and opening the windows wasn’t practical because of the street noise. Unfortunately, when the air conditioning was running, there was also a noticeable cigarette smell coming through, which made the room less pleasant. The pool is quite small and became busy very quickly, so it felt crowded rather than relaxing. We also noticed mould on the bathroom ceiling, which was disappointing and something that clearly needs attention. Overall, the hotel has strong points, especially its location, but in its current condition I don’t feel it fully matches four-star expectations.

Hotel Nice Riviera’s main strength is its location, convenient to both the train station and the beach, while still being quiet enough in the evening. The front desk team was exceptionally polite and professional.
Aesthetically, though, it did not meet my expectations for a four-star hotel. The interiors felt dated.

I booked a double bedroom, and when I checked in I got an connected room with a random woman. there was a thin door seperating our rooms, with no sound proofing - so I could hear her talk in the phone constantly. I complained and then they gave me another room but it took nearly an hour for it to be ready and for me to love all of my stuff.
in the new room there was no towels. And it took them over half an hour to come with towels after my request.
The hotel key cards to the room kept failing, so many times I needed to reconnect the cards at the reception. Talked also to other guests who had the same problem.
elevator is super slow and very small.
Location of the hotel is perfect. next to the train station and to the beach etc.

Very nice hotel near the train station.

A very pleasant surprise just a stone's throw from the Nice train station.
Nice hotel.
Our room for 4 was actually 2 rooms in one.
Friendly welcome.
Clean place.
I recommend it.
