September in Limoges

The hotel was much better than we thought for a 2 star. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable. Also being in Limoges across from the railway station we expected to hear noise..but nothing no sirens, trains or people shouting. The food in the restaurant was wonderful, tasty. Presented well. The staff were lovely and friendly and we would be happy to stay there again. Yes we had to pay for parking but across the road from the hotel and only 3 euros for 24 hours.

Good location, air conditioned and clean 2 Star hotel

Location, location, location - one of two claims to fame of the Grande Hotel de la Poste, being only 150M from the railway station and surrounded by parking spots, all payant unfortunately. The road outside also becomes part of the street market every Saturday, the second largest in France with over 400 stalls. Its second beneficial feature is air conditioned rooms, a blessing on a hot summer night.
Other than that it is what you would expect of a 2 star hotel, seen better days but clean and it does have a lift. Our room was reasonable in size with a large, comfortable bed and integral bathroom and toilet. The tariff was high for a 2 star hotel but accommodation costs in Vienne seem to be generally high. So no real complaints other than the high cost.

Super pour une étape découverte de Limoges

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel, chambre très correcte pour un 2 étoiles, propre, bon lit, salle de bain spacieuse et fonctionnelle. Les grands plus : la gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel, un bon petit déjeuner (café, très bon jus d'orange, viennoiserie correcte, pain frais, beurre, confitures, miel, yaourt et compote de pommes....) un restaurant excellent , plats de terroir, viandes limousines de qualité, vins corrects. un emplacement idéal pour visiter la gare (100 mètres) les quartiers historiques (cathédrale, pont Saint-Etienne, bords de Vienne ) facilement visitables à pied. Ici on ressent de bonnes ondes .

Très bonne adresse

Un accueil 4 étoiles, une table de qualité et un hôtel reposant.
Bien situé à côté de la gare et proche du centre ville, le rapport qualité -prix est bon.
Petit déjeuner à prix raisonnable et objectivement appréciable
A recommander sans problème !

Médiocre

Peu d'attrait dans cet hôtel. Hyper bruyant, et pas de climatisation donc impossible de dormir fenêtre fermée en cette fin août ! Et réseau Wi-Fi défaillant, !! Le seul atout, à 100m de la gare. On en a tout juste pour son argent, je ne saisis pas l'attribution de 2 étoiles
