To avoid

Half of the lamps do not work, which is surprising for a hotel. The bed was too small (I'm 1m70 tall) because my feet stuck out (the owner replied that she had standard size beds except that for the other hotels where I stayed there was no such problem). The mattress was ultra hard (hard as a board) so good luck sleeping on it. The stairs are a bit of a hassle because they are an old spiral staircase and the bedroom landing is almost non-existent which makes it feel like you are opening a door in the stairwell (you imagine the problem with big suitcases), then the owner can't do anything about it because it's an old building but it's good to know that for those who are going to stay there. Closing the bedroom door does not give confidence because the bolt does not seem to go far into the strike plate. The toilet in the room was raised by 15 to 20 cm so for the shorter ones (between 1m50 and 60) like my wife it is a climb to use it (a step would have been more practical). The way of getting the key was nice and practical for us: a key box with a code, the breakfast was plentiful, but it was a stroke of luck to have been able to get it. Let me explain: at no time is it offered as a service or its price, you have to ask the owner (I booked through booking for info) since she called me by phone to give me the code the key box to ask him. The manager was nice.
