Good but the location has no charm whatsoever

56-room hotel on 3 floors under the Ibis Style brand (formerly Kyriad), located in a commercial area at exit no. 48 (Guéret center) of the N145. The city center is about a fifteen-minute walk away. Since on-site dining options are limited (as they are in the city center, for that matter), a car is almost essential. Superior room with terrace, featuring modern decor and warm tones. The terrace unfortunately overlooks a roundabout and a very busy street. The room is well-equipped with a Nespresso machine and a mini-fridge. Good bedding. Bathroom with a bathtub. Breakfast meets Ibis Style standards with a machine for fresh orange juice and a single local specialty (Creusois cake). No fruit juice other than fresh orange juice (apple juice would have been welcome) and no scrambled eggs. Free outdoor parking (closed after 10 p.m. - access with code) or paid underground parking. Professional welcome. Good value for money. Good except for the location.

Heurte, France.half way house

Stopped here for a one nighter on our way south from Calais. 8 hour drive about half way . Easy to find just off the N145 with Secure parking. Inside the whole place was Impressively clean. Reception staff double as bar staff for our evening arrival and pre bed drinks and were very pleasant company. The room was spacious clean and more than suitable . Morning shower was great with lashings of hot water, down to a fine spread of continental breakfast. And on our way. All in all a good stop very reasonably priced at 140. Euro.

Very nice hotel with good Price quality ratio 5 minutes from Guéret

Superb hotel, exceptional Price quality ratio, yet located in a commercial area. I took a room with terrace on the 3rd floor, very nice. quiet environment, 5 minutes from the center of Gueret. You forget about the shops around here. Whether at reception, room staff or breakfast, everyone is very welcoming. Breakfast very well provided (Maybe a little more salty?? Sausages, scrambled eggs, beans..) Excellent bedding (My God the pillows.. Happiness), very clean and spacious rooms, nicely decorated. Small fridge available, quite a lot of electrical outlets, and storage. Bathroom on top. The common areas (dining room, lounge, bar, reception) are also very warm and you feel right away. No electric vehicle charge (installed) but Movibe charger at 200M and also at Carrefour Market at 1.3km (150KWH). I'll be back with pleasure.

Recommendation

Very velvety place. Spacious room. Top staff. Great breakfast. Only downside no restaurant. Campanile restaurant directly opposite which offers buffets.
