Lovely place!

Charming beautiful rooms, excellent friendly service. Breakfast is super with lots of local foods including superb jams. Some stairs to the rooms but totally ok for us. We had room nr 1 with en-suite bathroom on top floor. It had a fridge outside so perfect for us travelling with car refrigerator.

Amazing stay in a beautiful restored house.

Amazing guest house style accommodation in a great location for Malo Les Bains. The owner Michel is such a nice guy and nothing is too much trouble. It was so busy outside and we couldn’t park so he kindly offered to move his car so we could take his space. The property has been tastefully renovated but retains its beautiful character. Michel provides a beautiful continental breakfast and he’s a mine of information for everything Dunkirk. It only has two bedrooms which makes your stay very special. Highly recommend it when visiting the area. It’s literally a 2 min walk to the beach front and the restaurants.

Wonderful

The most wonderful hotel, with the most wonderful host and the most wonderful breakfast.
Couldn’t fault.
The shower was powerful with plenty of hot waters
Michel couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was magnificent, fresh bread and croissants homemade jams and a vast selection of cheese.
We only stayed one night but Michel gave us a parting gift of local biscuits.
Couldn’t recommend enough.

Highly recommended.

We had an overnight stay here after getting the ferry to Dunkirk. Michel was so accommodating, checking us in after 9pm as our boat was late. The house itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We did not have an en-suite but we had sole use of the bathroom next to our bedroom which was better because it meant we did not wake our baby using it in the middle of the night. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, excellent bread, cheeses, yoghurt, croissants and fabulous homemade jams (strawberry, apricot and rhubarb). Michel is an absolute gentleman and we would be delighted to stay there again for longer.

Incontournable ... pour les amoureux de la tranquillité

Impeccable ... dans un cadre exceptionnel et de très bon goût. Nous avons dormi comme des loirs, sur une literie comme on en rêve. L'accueil à l'avenant plein d'urbanité et courtoisie. Petit déjeuner classique ... et copieux. Quartier très calme à la lisière (!) de Dunkerque ... et Malo, et proximité des Musées d'Art Contemporain ou d'Histoire (Opération Dynamo). Si Dieu nous prête vie nous reviendrons avec plaisir ... Sue la digue toute proche, on pourra le midi, déguster une moule frites succulente et copieuse, à "La Paillotte", qui n'a pas une façade extraordinaire mais dont la formule "au maroille" mérite le détour ...
