Excellent place

A very nice place for a break in the Restonica, access to the river is available from the hotel parking lot, perfect after a swim in the pool ☺️

Fabulous!

Beautiful property, nestled into the Restonica valley and immediately adjacent to the river, which flowed through the grounds, quite idyllic. Really well located for access to some of the local hiking trails.
Our room was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We reserved a table at the hotel restaurant on our first night. The menu was amazing, the portions huge and the food delicious. All the staff serving there were, without exception, incredibly friendly. On our second night, we opted to drive in to Corte for our meal. Breakfast was a simple, but very ample, selection of cereals, breads, ham, cheese and so forth. It was served on the outdoor terrace, making for a lovely start to the day.
The swimming pool was still open when we stayed in mid-September, which made for a welcome respite after a day out walking. It was a large pool with plenty of sun beds. The staff were happy to serve us a beer there to help with our post-hiking.
My only complaint was the sliding door between our bedroom and bathroom. It was not flush and slid back on itself, leaving a discernible gap in the doorway and very little privacy!
On the whole, I’m very happy to recommend this super hotel and its lovely staff.

Great hotel with little attention to detail

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautifully located hotel. The house has been renovated to a high standard and the bathrooms are very large and clean. Also the pool and terraces are nice.
But we didn't really feel comfortable. The house looks a bit loveless and sterile despite the beautiful furniture. It simply lacks attention to detail.
e.g. the small paper cups in the bathroom, are not appropriate for a hotel of this price range.
Very disappointing was also the breakfast. For 14 euros there was everything that belongs to a continental breakfast, but of very simple quality (2mm thick ham!!, so you only get the one packed in Corsica!)
It was also difficult to communicate if you don't speak French.
With a little more commitment you could turn it into a real feel-good hotel.

Beautiful

Moment of serenity than a stay at the Hostel de la Restonica. Spacious room, comfortable, very clean, impeccable bedding in a Corsican house bordering the tumultuous River Restonica with direct access. In a magnificent landscape of nature allowing swimming in a superb pool after those made in the river, close to hiking courses and less than 5 minutes from the center of Corte, not to mention impromptu visits of cows / calves ... a real treat. A welcome that makes us feel at home, I recommend this establishment composed only of 7 rooms.

Excellent

We went to this Hostel pure chance.
A very warm place with a welcome as at home the rooms are really very charming and made with taste the breakfast was excellent thank you for staying and see you soon!
