Superb private hotel, very very pleasant

Far from the level of a 3-star hotel
Not a 3-star, more like a decent bed and breakfast, or a 2-star at best. Bar and reception closed on Sundays (in season!), managers detached or uninvolved. The reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM only. Bar closed starting at 11:00 AM on weekdays. Risk at the pool with no security, no alarm, and no supervision. Old, worn-out carpet in the room, which has neither a safe nor a coffee or tea maker... Breakfast is not up to standard.

Je suis navrée que votre séjour n'est pas été à la hauteur de votre attente, nous avons habituellement de très bon retours sur la chambre que vous avez occupé, peut-être n'avez pas séjourné dans un hôtel 3 * depuis longtemps car ce classement nous a été attribué avec 10/10 par Atout France.
Concernant le fonctionnement de l'hôtel ; comme vous l'avez remarqué, ou pas, nous sommes 2, mon mari et moi, en 7/7 de mars à novembre, donc oui le dimanche après-midi la Réception est fermée afin que nous profitions un peu de notre famille puisque nous vivons sur place, et que nous sommes H24 sur place.
La réception est ouverte de 7h30 à 13h00 et de 16h00 à 20h00, même horaires pour le bar, ce sont les arrivées qui se font de 16h00 à 20h00
Nous accueillons uniquement une clientèle adulte et il est bien précisé sur la terrasse que la piscine n'est pas surveillée, nous disposons cependant de matériel de sauvetage (perche et bouée) et de système d'alerte.

A refusal to welcome the client!
I wanted to book a room for the evening: first catch, impossible to do online... you have to "book".... when you are supposed to arrive late, and the hotel is not in the same place as our destination, it is very convenient!!
The owner on the phone tells me in the early afternoon that he can't even take a bank fingerprint on the phone... I haven't seen this since 2000! "You will see this with my wife who will call you back later."
He assures me that the reservation will still be possible, I specify to him that we will arrive between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. I scoured almost every hotel in the area for this very last minute stay and I can't find anything, I'm reassured to hear that this hotel will welcome us.
And there it is the cold shower, when Madame calls us back, she complains first "we will have to wait for you", then when I give her the late schedule already given to her husband, there is a refusal, it will not be possible.
Fortunately another hotel in downtown Salon had a last room, which I was able to pay for online and whose owners saw no problem that we arrived late.... like all worthy hotels in the 21st century!

Chère Sandrinea, nous n'avons pas pour habitude de refuser d'accueillir des clients mais par expérience et notamment le samedi soir, nous ne faisons pas de VAD à l'aide d'une empreinte bancaire, il y a malheureusement des gens malhonnêtes qui ensuite font refuser le paiement par leur banque et ils ont plusieurs mois pour le faire.
D'autre part, j'étais prête à vous attendre mais votre heure d'arrivée n'était pas précise (selon vos dires 23h00 peut-être), sachez que nous sommes présents mon mari et moi même 7j/7j durant 8 mois sans repos. Les horaires d'arrivées sont bien indiquées sur notre site et les différentes plateforme de réservation et nous nous faisons un plaisir d'accueillir nos clients dans les règles de l'art avec un accompagnement en chambre, c'est notre manière de fonctionner, digne d'un hôtel de charme indépendant du 21 ème siècle.
