Wonderful and peaceful place to stay

It is a wonderful and peaceful place to stay for a few days or just for a night if you are on one of the GR long distance trails. We stayed here for one night in one of their cosy cottages. It was very clean, comfortable and very quiet. We wish we could come back here as the hosts, Ellen and Günther were extremely wonderful. All the meals we had were very delicious and could highly recommend it. If you are a hiker they can prepare a generous picnic lunch as well.
We can honestly recommend this place, you will be looked after well.

An outrageous toilet instead of a comforting morning coffee.

Passing in the corner. I came for coffee. I LEARN RESTAURANT N OPENS AT 2:00 P.M.! I am in my van to look at my next road and I use the toilet camping .The manager started insulting me by firing me.I am 56 years old with a t6 .and nothing crazy ...thanks the quiet corner .
I know you will reply ...will continue to be friendly .you will make tourists do.!

Great campsite with great operators

We stayed here for one night in a gite during our hike on the Sentier Cathare. The gites are well equipped and you can book your stay with full board, which in addition to breakfast also includes dinner in the restaurant and a packed lunch for the road. The owners are very friendly and helpful and are happy to chat with their guests. The domain also offers families with children a beautiful space with many opportunities to play and enjoy.

A silence that can be listened to

A nice and really quiet corner of the mountains. Heartwarming welcome. Excellent for resting! Located in the heart of Cathar country. Many visits to make. Magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

Excellent place to stop on the Cathar Way (Sentier Cathare).

We camped at the Silence du Midi overnight during our walk of the Sentier Cathare. The place is a Gite, camping ground, restaurant and bar. The owners were friendly, helpful and hospitable. The bar was great for relaxing after our walk from Montferrier. The camping ground was soft turf compared with the super-hard aggregate of dedicated camp sites.
We had a buffet breakfast the following morning for 12 euros a head.
