A nice dock for lunch.

Lunch by the water at Doux Nid was a pleasure: friendly welcome, a short but complete menu, reasonable prices.

To avoid.

After consulting the website to book:
Terrible hotel. Do not trust the photos on the website.
The price of the room is exorbitant at €110 per night for an uncomfortable room.
We stayed for 2 nights.
No duvet, only a cover.
The sink is placed on bottle crates, with a leak at the faucet.
Coffee maker and kettle placed on the microwave, which is itself placed on the empty refrigerator.
We had a meal in the evening at the restaurant for €26, too expensive for the dish.
Reheated fries from lunch.
Pulled lamb very dry.
The dessert was extra; we only ordered one dish.
Waitress not diplomatic with the customers.
To flee.
A shame for our friends who booked for us.

Avoid at all costs!

The only positive point is its location in the village.
The room was dirty, and smelled bad. The sink was clogged; I reported it but no one intervened. The toilet paper was placed on the floor, near the cleaning brush... on the dirty floor.
No welcome, it's very impersonal.

Disappointing

We stayed here in June for one night as part of a cycle tour on the Via Rhona. A place run by a group of very helpful, friendly people who are trying hard to turn the business round after acquiring it a few months ago. I hope they succeed. Our room cost 80 euros for the night which was fair considering the shower door didn't shut properly. The breakfast left a lot to be desired for the price, so I wouldn't recommend that. Hopefully the staff have now got their act together because it is a beautiful setting and with a bit more organisation and eye for detail they could have a great business. Sorry to be so negative. You deserve to do better!

Enjoyable stage evening

Very Good Welcoming, Comfortable and quiet room. External staircase a little steep. Bicycle space with support for VAE.
Hearty breakfast.
