Nice small room with a balcony. It is in the centre of Chamonix city, so you can leave the hotel front door and be right by everything. The room space is utilized very well. Staff are nice and welcoming at the reception. Breakfast is okay with a decent selection of different items.

Good hotel

Very close to everything, between the station and the centre of town, just a couple of minutes walk. Modern style room and the balcony was a bonus. There was some noise from the street as you'd expect from being in town but it wasn't excessive and didn't disturb us. It was good value for Chamonix and we enjoyed our stay.

1st trip to Chamonix and we were looking for a good location, clean and plenty of space. We were greeted by the most wonderful young man who made everything about checking in as easy and personal as possible. The service continued throughout our 6 night stay. We especially liked our suite with 3 balconies overlooking all of the action. Simply love this gem of a hotel.

Great place to stay in Chamonix. Rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. We booked a room with a Mountain View balcony, but unfortunately we were placed on the 1st floor, so our view was obstructed by trees. Other than that, very nice place to stay.

Hotel Chaminox France

Stayed two nights - convenient location to restaurants, shops, train and trail. Room small, shower is a corner of the bathroom that you slide two walls temporarily over to form a semi water splash area. Restaurant was basic food, nothing special. Good for hikers that just want to stop here for a night.
