Well worth a visit!

Exceptional welcome where the fish and chips on a Friday evening are a must but do book in advance. Fabulous atmosphere with wonderful views from the restaurant over the village of Carlux. We also experienced the plat du jour for lunch which was four courses freshly prepared, a recommended experience.

One of a kind

We enjoyed the delicious food and the unique menu options. We also enjoyed local company passing though the restaurant & bar giving us warm welcomes and conversations. The village is perfect for walks and has historical buildings to explore including a castle and cathedral.

Brilliant

Loved staying here. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent food and lovely service. The town is picturesque and it's a great place to see the rest of the beautiful region.
We stayed on the top floor and the view from our bedroom was gorgeous. Highly recommended.

A find.

Friendly welcoming atmosphere with hosts who can't do enough to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Lovely bar with an interesting menu ( Aussie Burger is a more left field example - testament to the nationality of one of the owners ). Extraordinarily good value food that is well presented and served. Restaurant attracts many locals so it's a good opportunity to mix and enjoy a good bar in a beautiful village. Recommended.
