We arrived 2.5hrs before check-in and room wasn’t ready. We were abruptly told check-in was 3pm. We sat inside the bar area for 2hrs as it was raining heavy outside. We got our room at 2:30. Room was a large room with large bathroom which had twin sinks, bath & shower. Huge bed, sofa, two chairs and a coffee table. Nice an airy room. No AC but Arras is about 10 degrees lower than other parts of France we visited so didn’t bother us too much. You get a safe and clothes steamer. No iron or ironing board. Asked for one from reception and was told we don’t have them. The steamer was poor. We didn’t eat or drink in hotel as plenty of choice in town. We reserved a car park space for 10 euro per day. I’d recommend this as only about 14 spaces available. Beautiful looking hotel in a great area.

We stayed for one night on our way back to Calais. We had a lovely junior suite which had a huge comfy bed and an additional seating area. Hotel was very well located for central Arras and a 10 minute walk to the Squares and its side streets. There was lots of local restaurants and bars in the area, as well as local shops. Unfortunately we stayed Saturday night so as is common in France, very little was open on the Sunday morning when we had time to look around.
The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was very very hot, especially on the second floor, but they had provided a lovely big fan which was very welcome. On our arrival, there was only one staff member who seemed to be running the entire hotel- checking in new guests, organising parking for a group of bikers who arrived just after us, dealing with existing guests, answering the phone/gate, and serving at the bar. While he was lovely, helpful and cannot fault him or his professionalism, this meant that he was not able to give as much attention to existing guests. We had hoped for a drink in the bar, but he was dealing with so many things we felt we couldn't bother him.
Lovely breakfast with a range of options from cold meats, pastries, cooked items, toast, and fruit (and they'd increased staffing for the morning!).

Lovely staff and a beautiful building. Very clean, but poorly maintained. Carpets are threadbare. The room was tatty. TV didn’t work properly. No air-con, not a game changer. The bar has zero atmosphere, no music, low stock, and the lights are as bright as an airport runway. Overall, a neglected hotel. There are better options for the same price. I must reiterate, staff were lovely.

Perfect location in the heart of Arras

A good hotel with a great restaurant. The rooms were ok, a little dated but nice enough. The food was very good for dinner, would recommend eating here if you’re staying. The location is great, just a short walk into the main square. Plenty of parking.

Well-located hotel.

Well-located hotel for visiting Arras or attending shows.
Good welcome with clear explanations of how the place works.
Decent room with good bedding and the option to choose your pillow. Functional bathroom.
Good breakfast for us French people.
We will return if we pass through Arras.
PS: remember to reserve your parking space.
