Nice family run hotel with kind and helpful staff. Clean room, a bit dated but nothing wrong with it. A bit noisy from the traffic outside.

The Hotel Is simply amazing.
Great and very helpful staff.
My room was comfortable and extremely clean.
Prices are fantastic for the quality offered.
I can only recommend this beautiful Hotel!

Fading Royalty

I am somewhere between 2 and 3 stars on this. No fault of the hotel but we arrived when the main street outside was under massive reconstruction with both sidewalks and the road. This made access quite difficult plus the noise was monumental (although the windows did a good job of drowning that out mercifully). We almost felt like fleeing on first approaching. To add to the negative, the hotel is certainly on the faded side of royalty - a sadly inappropriate name selection. The room was very spartan and there were no amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee/tea making etc. For the money I would have expected at least some of that.
On the other hand, by way of redemption, there are some positives: Surprisingly, the windows provided excellence sound-proofing from the very busy streets right outside. At first I was skeptical about the noise level but with the window shut it was extremely quiet.
The location is also good, being very close to the tram to get to the city center, and it is also close to the river as well as some restaurants, bars and groceries. Parking is pretty easy and also cheap - although not directly connected to the hotel.
When the street construction is done it actually could be a very nice location. Our timing was unfortunate.
