Basic hotel with very large rooms

Located on a small skislope and on the GR20, this hotel is a bit of a mix between a hostel (providing standard dinner and breakfast for hikers) and a hotel with very spacious rooms with balconies. Hotel policy requests luggage to be stored in lockers downstairs and to only take essentials to the rooms. Apart from hiking (and skiing in winter) there isn't much to do in the area, but there is a small shop and a bar to provide essentials

Expensive and without Mood

After 6 days of GR20, of which three days in a row a long hard stage, I needed a shower and bed. In that respect, this hotel was adequate. Otherwise, the hotel is ugly and without Mood. The food in the restaurant is fine. In short, the hotel will do. However, the price is the turn-off here.

Attention to double billing

Hikers GR 20 => reservation made for 18/06. Sick I am late and arrive on 19/06. No network on the course. I was charged the night of the 18th and billed the night of the 19th without any commercial gesture. 1 night for the price of 2, a slogan to avoid!!!

Really because we can't do otherwise

Breakfast stop before going hiking for 2 days. Unfortunately no review dissenting from us regarding the concert of disillusioned remarks... still passes the ton of no-go signs that greet you as soon as you leave the parking lot.
You then have to pay for a Buffet Breakfast Package...but you can only use it once in the self (so only one coffee, etc...) under the threat of a sign prohibiting taking anything...before paying under the suspicious gaze of an unsympathetic planton making it clear to everyone how much he would prefer to be elsewhere.
We were thinking about this kind of treatment of German Switzerland where we have lived for 30 years, they obviously came to do an internship with us...

Hotel ok, but spoiled experience by a staffmember

Ok hotel situated in a wonderful nature. A good place to stay when hiking. But we did not feel welcome, because of an offensive attitude of one of the staffmembers, of whom we felt under surveillance in the restaurant and especially in the breakfast-area. He acted passiv-aggressive and was very impolite. The rest of the staff were very nice and polite.
