Pleasant hotel

We had a very pleasant stay at this cozy hotel. The location was great and convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The hotel itself was simple, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the beds and pillows, which were very comfortable and helped us sleep well. The room had all the basic amenities we needed, and everything worked as expected.
The breakfast was good and had enough options to start the day well. The atmosphere at the hotel was relaxed and welcoming, and we felt comfortable during our stay.
The hotel is not new or particularly modern, but that did not bother us at all. Everything was functional, clean, and practical. Sometimes you do not need luxury or a very modern hotel – you just need a comfortable place with a good location and everything you need, and this hotel provided exactly that.
Overall, we were happy with our stay and felt that the hotel offered good value for money. It was a cozy, convenient, and comfortable place to stay, and we would happily consider staying here again.

A good hotel especially for those in transit. Located near the city's central bus station, it has easy connections to the airport, other cities, or the rest of Turku.
The area is not very touristy, but it is easy to reach the tourist attractions by bus or even on foot.
I stayed there twice, once in a double room, once in a single room. Both rooms were very clean. The bathrooms were also very clean, with underfloor heating. In both rooms there was a small fridge and TV (useless channels, luckily it had YouTube, I listened to music; anyway, it's not important to me).
The temperature in the room does not rise above 22 degrees (OK for me) although the thermostat accepts 23.5.
Very good Wi-Fi.
Breakfast, included in the price, good and diverse.
I didn't like that they don't have a 24-hour reception. If you arrive after 8:00 PM, you have to pick up the key at a gas station across the street, about 250m away. Not a pleasant thing when it's raining and cold.

Thank you for your stay and a nice review! As being a small unit we unfortunately, do not have possibility to be open all night. In summer time we prolong the opening hours a bit. Warmly welcome again to Hotelli Helmi!

Enjoy your stay

A decent and well maintained room with a single bed (and also an extra bed). Quiet hotel (Turku is generally) and very well located for public transport. Good breakfast. Very welcome, the different people at the reception do everything to help you.

Good base in Turku

We chose this hotel for its particularly favorable location: 15 minutes walk from the station, opposite the bus station and not far from downtown. The decor is simple but functional. Breakfast good and well balanced between sweet and savory. Consigliato!

Good hotel in Turku

Good mid-range hotel a few minutes walk from the central station and the riverside and centre. There are bad bus stops in front.
The room was simply furnished but clean, comfortable and functional. There was also a fridge in the room but no kettle.
The breakfast, included in the rate, offers a decent choice with a savory and sweet part.
Good value for money.
Definitely recommended
