Excellent View. Pretty Decent Rooms.

Had a pretty good stay here. We booked it to be close to the pyramids, and it delivered on that count. Views from the room are unobstructed. The ticket office and entrance gates are about two minutes away on foot, so this is an excellent place to be if you want to beat the crowds in the morning.
Our room was pretty clean and modern. Better than I expected at this point. Breakfast was fine, I guess.
They sell some tour packages for the usual attractions, but some might consider them a tad overpriced. If you are looking for a deal, consider asking one of the cabbies who hang around the area.
There are some shops nearby if you need snacks, water or self-catering stuff.

Basic but clean and lovely hotel, excellent location, fantastic staff.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sequoia Pyramids View Hotel. Firstly, the staff were wonderful from start to finish. They were all extremely friendly and personable, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They were exceedingly helpful from start to finish and happy to give tips/advice for our travels. The food at the hotel also far exceeded our expectations and was excellent. Breakfast was lovely and very fresh, and dinner was exceptional home cooking. The mixed grill and stuffed pigeon were both great. The view from the roof during meals of the pyramids was stunning and felt so surreal. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathrooms were basic but had good showers. There are some renovations underway at the hotel which means it lacks a bit of polish appearance wise in the staircases, but there was never any construction noise during quiet hours and it didn’t interfere with our stay. We absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again if returning to Cairo/Giza. We had a lovely time.

If you're staying around the Pyramids, the Sequoia has likely the best views available!! Nice, clean rooms, a two-tier rooftop and restaurant, and its location in a quiet enclave secluded from the bustling, hectic streets of Giza make it the perfect oasis to recoup before your next excursion into the wilds of Egypt. But the best perk of the Sequoia is its manager Yousef!! He's a built-in concierge ready to take on any of your travel logistics. Have him arrange your airport transfer, taxi, tour guide, dinner locations/reservations, or even an impromptu rooftop party under the incredible visage of the Pyramids of Giza!! Thanks Yousef for such an incredible visit!!!

Incredible staff-Youssef took us in as if we were family- and showed us his childhood neighborhood. One of the more incredible stays I’ve had.
