Unforgettable Stay in Egypt!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. This is hands down the number one hotel in Egypt! From the moment my family and I arrived, we were treated with such incredible warmth and hospitality. A special, heartfelt thank you to Ali, the owner, and his son Yessan. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness and attention to detail made our trip so much more meaningful.
The hotel itself is fantastic everything was spotlessly clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. It was the perfect, comfortable base for our family to relax and enjoy the beauty of Egypt. We are so thankful for the memories we made here and we already can’t wait to be back! If you are looking for the best experience in Egypt, look no further.

The worst of the worst

I've never done a negative review in my life. But this time I really have to do it to warn people against this “stuff” that a hotel is not. Horrible location, in the middle of a deserted, dirty neighborhood, with the streets still dirt and full of stray dogs. There is nothing they deal in their brochures. They are apartments, the breakfast (bad and poor) you have to go and make it in the block next door. And the owners are unfair and dishonest. Also the room was never cleaned in the four days of our stay and was not even removed the garbage

Don't book trips with them, it's a rip off.

We booked and paid for a day trip to Alexandria, with a guide, a car entrance fees and lunch for $80.00 each with Mohammed. The father hears about it and says " my son is an idiot, there been miscommunication between him and Google translate and that's just for the car and driver". But the trip has been booked and paid for, so the deal is done. Viators were doing the same deal, private car, driver, lunch and guide, but you pay for your entrance fees for $80.00 each. Mr Ali now wants $60 for lunch the driver and entrance fees. I was pressured, as we were leaving in 2 days time, so we agreed and I paid him with $100. So he owes me $40. (I'm asking for my change, but they don't want to give it. Mohammed gives me 1000 LE ( Egyptian pounds) and still owes me 900 LE. He dissappear and Mr Ali takes over, then he disappears. The younger son Yassen takes over and he says no problem, I'll get my money, but I keep asking and I'm fobbed off.)
In Alexandria I'm told we have to pay for our tickets, that's not what was agreed, so now there's miscommunication between Egyptian and Egyptian ( tour operator and hotelier). The ticket were $32 , so he's scammed us $60+$32=$92.00. This is scam number 1. Plus they still owe me 900 LE in change.
Scam number 2:
Yessin since takes us to Carrefour supermarket and we buy a few things. He rushes to the checkout and I'm right behind him with purse in hand ready to pay in Egyptian pounds, but he's already paid. I ask to see the receipt but he doesn't show me. I've insisted a few times and he refuses, then he tells me the shopping came up 1500 LE. I think it would have been around 700 LE.
Scam 3:
We agreed to pay $75.00 each to see Memphis, Sahara and Dashur with transport, entrance fees and seafood lunch. We didn't see anything in Memphis and if it wasn't for a sign saying Memphis carpets, I wouldn't have known we drove through it. Then he keeps asking if we want chicken and rice for lunch. No, we paid for a seafood lunch, so eventually we got it, but I didnt realise we were paying for a day out for 2 of his friends and him.
They own 3 hotels in the block, but none of them had money to pay me the 900LE they owed me. Yassen went to the bank and got a wad an inch think of 200LE notes, so he could have paid me. Instead when I'm an hour from being picked up to go to the airport he gives me 10 euros and some LE and said that was 900 LE, but I worked it out and he was still 180LE short. They take credit cards, so it would have been easy to refund me by card.
We travel a lot but Cairo is one place I wouldn't return. Too many rip off merchants. Mr Ali you are training your sons to be dishonest and during the month of Ramadan. That's not good.
