Incredible hotel with the oldest view in history.

Stayed at the hotel in Giza city in early November 2025. For three nights opposite the Giza Plateau. Beyond incredible views of the pyramids and the Sphinx. Food was good too, no bad belly problems here. Picked us up from airport complimentary of the hotel.
We had a first class room. Well kept, ultra modern. Clean!! Jacuzzi even.
Good attended hotel staff. And the view, as I said , the best in Giza City of what you came for . One minute walk around the corner to the entrance to the wonders of the ancient world.
Very reasonable price too. Book at least 6 months in advance for this hotel during peak season. That’s important.
Enjoy your stay there as we and countless others have. The area is not the best. That is for sure. But there is police personnel always near by . We felt safe and were okay. Will be going back next year. It’s that good.

I was skeptical that the pyramid views would match the photos - the rooftop view is 5 stars! Having breakfast ($2) while looking at the pyramids was priceless. The apartment was clean, spacious, and mostly quiet. The AC worked well - adding an AC to the living room would make it better. The kitchen was well-equipped (we used the freezer - bring disposable ice bags), there’s a washing machine, the bathroom was fine - a longer shower curtain would keep water off the floor. The location is excellent - 5 minute walk to the Sphinx entrance, with lots of nearby shops: tourists pay higher prices than Egyptians. Ahmad was a great host, quick to respond. He arranged our airport transfer ($15), Nile dinner cruise ($40/p), pyramid and GEM tickets at face value, camel ride ($10/p), a private driver ($30/day), and a transfer to Alexandria. Our driver, Karem, was outstanding, respectful, accommodating, and trustworthy. Ahmad's wife made us a delicious dinner, a thoughtful gesture. We would return.
Side note:
The owner can be a bit pushy - he asked me to remove my review from Airbnb (see above) because I gave him a 4 star and not a perfect score. I was honest with my review and not happy with his request …But I will let Airbnb make the final decision. I also believed that I was very generous with my tipping.
He will take you to a papyrus and an essential oil/perfume store - He will tell you that you can enter for free with your pyramid tickets but this is not true. I knew it wasn’t true, I visited Egypt in the past and have Egyptian friends, but we went anyway because it was a learning experience for my children. I bought a small bottle for $50 US (way too expensive) because my son was so into it - I did it for him.
Don’t order the shawarma from the hotel - go out and buy it yourself - he charges way too much and it’s not worth it. Wait until you get to the market to buy souvenirs - if you have a guide they will take you to a fixed price store. You can buy 4 keychains for a dollar. They will ask you for $3-$4 for one souvenir and will tell you that their quality is better.
In Cairo, they will charge you almost 10 times the price for water, chips, chocolates, etc because their mentality is that you have money, you can afford it! FYI a small bottle of water costs 7 pounds and a large bottle about 12 pounds for an Egyptian - but they will charge a tourist 50+ pounds and that’s in all the little shops. So you have an idea in Alexandria I bought 3 water bottles and 2 cokes for less than a dollar - go figure! And nobody harasses you when you are walking the streets.

I booked an apartment with a Pyramid view, but they completely shoved me outside the hotel, 300 meters away from the main building, with windows facing walls just 50 cm away. The water was freezing, the place was filthy,
