A good budget hotel for the backpacker or traveler.

This is a budget hotel and as such I review it with that in mind. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Cold air conditioning. The shower works very well and we have stayed in a lot of places that did not. The bathroom was clean and over all we felt good here. It’s a basic hotel with friendly staff ready to help. Even gave us a lift to and from the local temple for 60 EGP. They made a nice coffee and the outlook from the roof is nice.

Expected Experience For The Budget Price

A hotel that is budget-priced should have the chance to earn five stars for the pricing category that they are in. Applicators makes no pretense for being a high quality hotel, so they shouldn't be penalized for basic rooms or modest breakfasts, because hat is the market and price niche they target.
Despite the drab interior of the room, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was good. The breakfast was equally functional, but nothing more or less.
For staying overnight and literally just sleeping and showering there and otherwise not even being on the premises, the price was a good value, not great or poor.
It is what it is and we were happy to use the money that we saved on the hotel for the sound and light show and. delicious fresh fish meal in Abu Simbel.

Weird experience

Clean with air conditioning.
Charges the water from the breakfast amore than twice the standard price.
The owner tried to kiss my girl friend when we arrived to ensure dinner would be prepared for us. It set the weirdest mood, never seen that anywhere in the world.

Only "budget" option and fine for a night

Applicators is very worn and, for egypt, overpriced, but all of the places by Abu Simbel are and this is the least expensive. It is clean and overall fine for a night. We organized a taxi from the airport through them, which was also very overpriced as we could have walked. It is a good 30 min walk from the temple itself, so you need to be in shape. They turned the hot water off when they want, without telling us, so we had to take cold showers. They shut the internet off at 9pm. The room we were in, the receptionist sat just outside and chain smoked the entire time, so our room smelled of smoke.
