A truly magical experience.

Our experience at El Septimo Paraiso was truly magical from start to finish. Nestled deep in the cloud forest, the hotel felt invisible to the outside world - the perfect escape. That said, the nearest village, Mindo, was a short distance by car, with many small gift shops and a local chocolatier offering visitors the chance to make their own chocolate, as well as a fabulous zip wire adventure through the forest and a butterfly house with a variety of species to walk amongst and observe. Back at the hotel we were treated to delicious recipes and excellent service, as well as inviting and comfortable rooms to relax in after a day of adventure, or tranquility. An excellent location for birdwatching where you can feed tiny humming birds which sit on your hand. We were lucky enough to see a variety of creatures on a night hike through the forest from the hotel door, with a local guide, including scorpion spiders and a snake shedding its skin, followed by a late night dip in one of the fabulous pools. An excellent place to stay if visiting this magical part of the world.

Best hotel in Mindo

Septimo Paraiso has a great location, delicious food, beautiful and cozy rooms. We had a wonderful experience. The services and amenities are top. Also a very large parking lot and a beautiful terrace to have some coffee or wine.
And the owner Analu made us feel at home.
Definitely will return!!

Spectacular suite and unrivalled nature experience

Excellent place, spotless and its hot pool is the reason why I recommend. We stayed in the suite with my son and it was the best experience I ever had. We saw beautiful birds and squirrels in the morning. Delicious food and excellent attention from the owner . We love him!

in the middle of the cloud forest

rustic lodge, in the middle of the cloud forest. very cozy. there are rooms in the main house and in small huts. from the room window you can watch hummingbirds, butterflies and birds. very good and friendly service. night hike recommended. about 5 min away around center of mindo.
