Could not be happier with our stay

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet area of town. The amenities offered are everything you would hope for, swimming pool, fitness centre, restaurant and lounge. The staff were superb, and made a point of checking on our satisfaction regularly. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding, simply delicious food. The lounge offered a sophisticated environment and a broad menu of drinks.

The most negative

Let's start with the third time I stop and every time I see it?
1. At the reception, 1-2 people speak English. The others don't. It's weird for five stars. I'm not talking about staff. Also 2 waiters out of 10 . It makes communication very difficult.
2. During the last visit EVERY day I woke up to the sound of either a chainsaw or a perforator ) the kids decided to re-tile and didn't worry too much that the guests could sleep. Speaking of which, I wake up early around 8-9am.
3. Food. Breakfast was the same all the time. Chicken/pork/bananas fried. From January 23 to February 4, the same thing is constant. There was a moment of requested salad at the cafe.
4. stinks the hood in the cafe . We sat in the heat even outside because if you go to a restaurant you smell like a kitchen worker.
5. Gym . Just the '90s.
I sincerely don't understand who gave this hotel 5 stars and when. And for what.

Everything was OK until the staff told us that there was a marriage going to happen soon and that we gonna have to support a little noise until 2 am. And probably some limitations on the wet areas, that was solved no problem.
Aside of this the experience was fine but the compensation only include us a late check out and the breakfast.
