The hotel is clean, breakfast is good, staff are really helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will stay here again when I come back to Odense

The service does not correspond to the price in any respect!

We chose the hotel because of its central location not far from the Hans Christian Andersen House. But that is also the only positive aspect. We were offered a basement room with a direct view of a metal wall that felt like it was 1m away for a completely unreasonably high price. We declined that and subsequently received a better room with a bathroom from the 70s for an extra charge.
The breakfast room has a canteen atmosphere. The breakfast was good. The staff did not radiate any joy while working.
On our tour through Denmark, this was the worst and at the same time most expensive hotel!

Great location, great breakfast. Do not book the room on floor 1 which is in the basement.

The location of this hotel is great. Breakfast is very, very good. The standard room is in the basement. Don't book this one! There's only a glass front with a door there, which leads to some kind of firebreak. Which all the other rooms also end up on. There's no air conditioning. So the door has to be opened. I thought that felt very unsafe. People from another room can then enter you at night.
After an upgrade (literally a room on the top floor) got fine room.

Great location but few attractive rooms

We stayed here as a family with 3 children for 2 nights. We had 2 connecting rooms which is very convenient for us. The rooms themselves were outdated, few amenities, including no small fridge and hardly any closet space, and especially the bathroom was very uncozy, less hygienic and small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great for visiting Odense.

It really should not be a 4-star hotel. It doesn’t deserve more than 2–2.5 stars.
The bathroom felt very old. There was no air conditioning, so the room was very hot during the summer. There was no phone in the room, and when we called the reception from our mobile phone for over 30 minutes, no one answered. We also had to wait a long time at the reception before someone came to check us in.
The only good things were the location and the nice-looking entrance of the building.
There was also no daily housekeeping. If you wanted your room cleaned, you had to request it at the reception which was difficult because it was often hard to find any staff there.
