Great hotel in a beautiful setting
Just a great hotel, super friendly staff. Everyone was so pleasant and welcoming. Fantastic buffet style breakfast which was delicious.
We also ate at the restaurant one night which was very tasty too.
Our room although on the small side was so quiet and had a lovely velux window which looked onto the park. Very comfortable and peaceful.
We also hired the free bikes for an afternoon which was so handy and a great way to explore Horsens. Lovely setting and the park is just beautiful.

A vacation you don't want to go home from.
Comwell Bygholm is a fantastic hotel located in Bygholm Park, Horsens. Easy access whether you come by car, where there are good p-options or with the public, as the station is a few hundred meters away. Nice park with lakes and great bird life. It is an old farm that has been gently renovated. The hotel is cozyly furnished and the rooms we have stayed in have been really nice, they were in one long with exit to the park. The restaurant is beautiful and they make really good food, both morning and evening. Comwell Bygholm can definitely be recommended and we will definitely come back.

Fantastic experience
We had booked a stay with 2 nights and with 2 dishes menu both days.
When we arrived and had to check in, we met Freja who is one of the receptionists. Freja is an incredibly smiling and service minded person, which was characteristic of all of the hotel staff we met.
The accommodation went smoothly and quickly, after which we came up to our room on the 1st floor. The standard rooms are a little small, but are well-maintained and have a nice bathroom.
That our room was facing the road and with the noise from passing cars, was to live with.
The dinner both days was incredibly beautifully arranged and was carefully presented by the waiter. The dishes were incredibly tasty and the proportions were well-tuned. The wine card is very varied and with prices for everyone's wallet.
Breakfast is a chapter in itself. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the world and in a lot of Denmark. That Bygholm Parkhotel was to be the hotel where I had the best breakfast was definitely a surprise.
Here was a large selection of various breakfast products, whether you wanted round pieces/bread, yogurt/skyr or cornflakes/haivregryn etc.
Here were several kinds of meat loaves, jam and 4 kinds of cheeses, various fruits/vegetables as well as scrambled eggs (roast eggs) made from the bottom of (and not of powder) either natural or with sausages and bacon, baked eggs with ham (made in muffin shapes and with liquid lead. Finally, there were also "low self" Waffles.
Drinks for breakfast consisted of a variety of coffee products and tea as well as juice/juice. In addition, there were 2 different kinds of shots (ginger and the like), today's smoothie and 3 different kinds of morning bits (free).
The hotel bar offers a rich selection of wines, drinks and beers at reasonable prices. Especially recommended to try the hotel's beer board consisting of 4 small glasses with 4 different varieties of beer types. They advertise with 4x 10 cl, but actually you get 4x 15/20 cl.

Nice place, but a lot of noise....
Places are nice, cosy and clean. The room was small but clean. We ate the main dish in the restaurant and it was a really good dish. Unfortunately the waiters were very busy (obviously), so we waited very long to be able to order a dessert. And then we waited very long to get it... It was quite good, though.
Unfortunately there was a great Christmas lunch at the hotel - with live band. Our room was just over the stage, so we got the experience too. It was definitely no pleasure. The party continued until after 1 p.m. The hotel is described as romantic and quiet. Quiet is not!
