First class service AND history.

Was on a solo motorcycle trip to Norway and had booked a tent pitch at the campsite. Unfortunately, for the last three hours of my ride up, it poured with rain and I got a good soaking. Needless to say, I didn’t fancy pitching a tent and getting wetter. I entered the reception and spoke to Henrik, and a lovely young g lady ( I didn’t get her name sadly). I asked if there was any chance of a paid upgrade to one of their little wooden cabins. This was done without any fuss or bother. Henrik also put all my wet motorcycle gear in a drying room at the back of reception. The cabin was great and had a lovely little heater in it. The beach was lovely to walk along and up in the dunes, I found an array of German bunkers from WW11. It was amazing to walk around them. They were part of Hitlers Atlantic wall. It’s actually a museum. Well worth having a walk around. The Hirtshals lighthouse was also super to look at.
When I checked out in the morning, Henrik retrieved my lovely warm and dry bike gear. They were really very helpful and I had an amazing stay.

Great location if you are taking a ferry.

Great location if you are taking a ferry. This campsite is different from the ones we have used in Denmark where there is no tree cover to shelter from the wind. All facilities for daily life are exemplary, clean and well-maintained. There is a food truck in the area that sells hot dishes.

Very good as always

Already for the third time in a Cabin after returning from Norway. Always nice, great location, nice and clean facility and friendly staff! Late arrival of the evening ferry no problem for me. Always happy!

Accommodation in Hirtshals with caravan

This is a camping for many travelling through. We started our holiday here and had two nights here before returning to Norway.
Large campsite with plenty of space between mobile cars and other campers. It's airy, as I think there's always wind here. Friendly staff who provide good service. Price level like other places.

Great location! Few sanitary facilities...

We camped at this campsite. Very pleasant. Friendly welcome. A great location right on the beach. Old bunker ruins can be examined here.
Of the sanitary facilities there were unfortunately a few too few. Everything was clean.
