Very clean & quiet hostel.

Extremely surprised. Self service hostel, but very clean, rooms clean and linnen fresh. Good price for short stay. Quiet. Very good organized to enter hostel. Not far from aarhus . Drinks in hostel are available, Flat screen in kitchen, Microwase. Kitchen is very clean.

Too loud, no rest and no support from staff

Unfortunately very disappointing. The room was small but basically equipped with the necessities. However, the real reason for the poor rating is the noise and lack of service.
From 16:00 to 20:00, the hostel hosted a children's party with dance contest – accompanied by extremely loud music, lots of bass and techno. Rest or rest after work was unthinkable at all. It was incredibly disturbing and absolutely unacceptable for guests.
It was particularly disappointing that even a call to the emergency number did not bring any help. Obviously, they didn't want to care. You just can't do that in a hostel. Unfortunately not a recommendation.

So nice a place

I have used the place several times, of course because I have always had a positive experience
Here are clean and nice, modern facilities and cheap prices. Nice location with tranquility and good outdoor facilities with coziness and possibility for exercise.

No heater in the room. Spoke with the manager Jeanie in the morning about it and when I returned in the evening it was not working still. I called her about 19:30 and she said to call back in one your if it was still not working. To my surprise when I called back she never answer the Calls or SMS. I had to sleep wearing my clothes and 2 blanket just to get thru the nite. Worst experience I have had in a Hotel in my Travels thru the nórdics.

Great hostel and hotel in a quiet location

Really nice hostel with bus to the city centre round the corner. It was my first time there but I booked a room for a week because I was going to Aarhus for a conference. My room was small but had a spacious closet for my clothes, a sink, table and a comfy bed. Everything was very clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful.
I had booked breakfast everyday and it was a nice continental one with a selection of rolls, ryebread and toast plus different cheeses, cereals and yoghurt. At the weekend they had a buffet that included cooked options like scrambled eggs and sausages.
As for the main meals, I cooked them in the downstairs kitchen: it's well equipped and clean and there are plenty of tables. There's a SuperBrugsen food store nearby but else there are plenty of places you can order from and a couple of restaurants and pizzeria nearby. Aarhus city centre is only a 20-minute bus ride away.
As for toilets and showers, they were clean and well-kept with a lady that sorted them every morning. I didn't have a toilet of my own but I saw the rooms that did and they looked nice.
Well, I'd absolutely recommend this hostel/hotel!
