2 dishes menu in an old-fashioned bath hotel

We got two dishes each on this renovated but faithful to the old style bath hotel.
We got Ravioli, ribeye and two different kinds of fish.
Ravioli was memorable, ribeye was average but the fishing dishes were wonderful both western sea fish and issing. I will definitely order more fish another time I visit it.

A quiet and tasty stay by the North Sea

In June we went to Fjerritslev and the North Sea, where we stayed at Hotel Nor – a wonderful acquaintance. Here we were welcomed by good service, a nice room, beautiful surroundings and food in a special class.
The hotel looks newly renovated and delicious. When we arrived, we made coffee in the room and sat out on the terrace, enjoying the fantastic panoramic views of the North Sea. Quiet, peaceful and quiet – pure balm for the soul.
As we explored the hotel, we found exciting bunkers from the time of the occupation – incredibly well-kept and a historic experience in itself. We also went for a walk in their large kitchen garden, where there was everything the heart desires: herbs, strawberries, potatoes and much more. Many of these delights were allowed to taste later in the evening.
We chose the hotel's 3-course menu and it was exquisite. We’ve tried many places over time, but this was absolutely top – both taste and aesthetically.
We highly recommend Hotel Nor if you want a quiet and tasty stay in a scenic setting.

Price and quality are not related

Location, the framework and the surroundings are there but unfortunately there are scratches in the lacquer.
Upon arrival at the hotel we had to call staff to check in. Maybe a censor at the door would help, so the staff was ready to welcome.
The trip to the room offered artificial bouquets in the windows with spindle tissue. On the floor of our bathroom there was a large bloodshed that obviously avoided cleaning. During our 2 nights there was no vacuum in the room. There was already dirty on arrival.Toilet paper stock was not filled up. The shower cabin lacks a shelf for soap and shampoo. Water pressure in the shower is very weak, so it is a challenge to rinse off shampoo. The cheap toilet paper holder does not make a good impression. Bruseniche was not cleaned during our stay. There is a lovely view from the terrace, but it will decorate if you remove weeds from the tiles. On our arrival there was a filled ashtray on the terrace, it was not emptied during our stay. Jensen beds were nice to sleep in, but when you have prioritized the guests’ sleep, you jump over where the ferment is lowest when choosing a cheap head pillow from JYSK. The Danish flag weathered beautifully in the wind, but came up only during the morning.
The hotel rents Puch Maxi. We booked a trip and everything worked impeccably. Recommended.
There was an arranged tour of the hotel's bunkers followed by the pizza buffet in the garden large barbecue cabin, on Wednesday we stayed at the hotel. We were not interested in the tour, but could well have thought of us a pizza (not buffet) for lunch. However, let your guests at the hotel buy pizza when you have the oven on and staff on.
The restaurant was obviously challenged. The service consisted of cute young girls, but unfortunately they did not handle the task. It did not ask about the food or follow up on whether we had wishes for more drinks, for example, and it was difficult to get in touch with them. Whether it was a kitchen or serving staff who could not follow, it is not known. However, there was a very long waiting time for service and food, which also resulted in guests choosing to leave the restaurant due to the long waiting time. It took 1 hour for them to serve a cheesecake for us.
Breakfast was good, with delicious dishes, homemade liver pasta and fresh bread, but do not understand that you choose to arrange the buffet up the windows, and cover up in the middle of the room. However, let your guests sit by the windows and enjoy the beautiful views. Knockbread for the cheese and homemade ginger shot could upgrade the selection. The outdoor areas are impressive, and the kitchen garden is fantastic. Beautiful greenhouses invite to coziness. However, it can be seen that the timber plant is in need of maintenance.
Upon check-out it was again a challenge of getting staff. The reception was served by serving staff from the breakfast restaurant. So it became a slightly quick and impersonal farewell.
In general, the hotel lacks a key person who welcomes, takes goodbye, checks up on cleaning and surroundings and gives the hotel personality. We only met smiling staff, but there was clearly a lack of a leader who goes ahead and gives the hotel personality. Price and quality are not related.

Lovely place!

Nice hotel in a quiet environment with service-minded staff. The room was just big enough for two. Maybe a little too small anyway. The terrace was excellent.
The view over the sea was excellent.
The food, Mortensaften, was delicious and tasted good, and the service excellent. Could miss a wine menu adapted by a sommelier.
We will be happy to come again - also the Morphine Juice!
