Great food and people

The food, waiter and waitress were just fantastic. The value, quality as well as the service we got were far better than other famous Italian restaurants in town, which were often very arrogant. Special thanks to Elisa and Daniel for their great manners and kindness towards the guests. We will definitely visit again!!!

Stayed in: Aug 2026

The staff at the reception suggested me to upgrade to a “ bigger and better room “, I paid extra 2000 dkk, but the shower drain was so stinky in the bathroom! They don’t even provide tissue for the room, no hand towels either, the doors are so difficult to open, especially was very inconvenient when moving the luggage! The room was actually only had a table plus 2 chairs and a sofa, useless, they were taking up all the space, the room was not big at all!

Avoid

We have stayed in many Scandic hotels and this is by far the worst experience. On check in staff were rude and unfriendly. Put it down to a one off but later that evening we went to the restaurant and were completely ignored by multiple staff who just walked by whilst we waited at the sign to be seated. We were eventually told a table was being prepared before being left again as staff just walked on by. We gave up and went to the local supermarket. The room itself was ok however the lighting system is completely illogical and unusable - despite a supposed guide on the wall! The air conditioning is also useless. There are two other Scandic hotels nearby - go to one of those or a different hotel and avoid this one.

New Stucture... but that's it

We chose a family room and there were three adults staying in it (our daughter is 21 years old). With the sofa bed opened, the room becomes really quite small, as there is no longer enough space to open the suitcases.
I honestly find it difficult to understand why guests have to book the room cleaning service. This is the first time I have experienced something like this, and I found it inconvenient.
I was also genuinely surprised to be told that leaving our luggage in the secure storage room after check-out would involve an additional charge.
Overall, the hotel is new and well maintained. It may be a little too far from the centre for those who want to explore the city mainly on foot.
The breakfast is, in my opinion, extremely expensive, especially considering that it comes on top of an already rather high room rate.

The best Bartender !

Elisa, Elisa was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome with her warm smile and positive energy. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and always one step ahead without ever being intrusive.
Her recommendations were spot on, the service was fast, and she made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to meet someone who is so passionate about their job and who truly cares about their customers.
If you’re lucky enough to have Elisa as your bartender/waitress, you’re in for a fantastic experience. She is a real asset to the team and one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Thank you, Elisa, for making our evening unforgettable!
