This place is all about quality
I spent 3 nights at Rum og Rooms with my husband and good friends during Samsø Festival.
The place had very good rooms and the breakfast was homemade and so delicious.
The Owner and the staff were very friendly - come see for yourself. I highly recommend the place.

I can in no way recommend Room & Rooms at Samsø.
Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay because I was hit by critical illness. This could be documented with medical evidence, and I immediately contacted the landlord in the hope of an understandable and proper dialogue.
We paid for the stay in full – even the day before the payment was due – because we wanted to comply with our agreement. I was later informed that there would be attempts to rental the rooms and that 75% of the amount would be refunded if the rooms were rented.
According to my experience, the rooms were not posted on the landlord’s own website or other rental sites until about two days later. Meanwhile, I found an interested tenant and contacted the landlord immediately, but I never received any response.
Later I could see that the rooms had been rented anyway. Despite this, I received no refund. My experience is therefore that the landlord both retained our full payment and at the same time received payment from the new guests.
Subsequently, I tried again to engage in dialogue to find a reasonable solution. To my great surprise, I was informed that the landlord did not know the case and did not know who I was, even though the full amount had been transferred from my spouse to her.
What disappoints me most is not just the financial aspect, but the way the case was handled. In a situation of serious illness, I had hoped for proper communication, compassion and a willingness to find a fair solution. Unfortunately, I did not experience that.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Room & Rooms at Samsø.

Don’t trust this place and the host (Susanne)
Due to severe acute illness we had to cancel our stay with short notice. It was to late for us to cancel without being charged for the full 4 days. We paid as agreed ahead of the day we were supposed to arrive. The host (Susanne) promised to do all she could to rent out our rooms we already paid for, and that she would compensate us for the days the rooms was booked for other guests. We could see at Booking.com that our two rooms was no longer available and realized that our rooms was occupied by other guest. We never got compensated as she promised, we asked her about our agreement, but she completely “ ghosted” us.

Lack of communication and an agreement not being complied with
We had booked a stay at Rum & Rooms for four days in connection with Samsø Festival. Shortly before our stay my friend was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer and had to start treatment urgently, so we had to cancel.
We contacted the hotel manager, Susanne, who explained that the stay could not be cancelled, but that she would try to rent the rooms again. If we succeeded, we would be refunded 75% of the amount for the nights that were rented.
After that we experienced poor communication. Messages were not answered, even though I found a tenant myself. The rooms were removed from Booking.com and we were not contacted again as agreed upon as the period was over.
Subsequently we found that the rooms were rented out for four nights, but we only received a refund equivalent to one rental. When we tried to get an explanation, we were told that she would not spend more time on us.
We understand that a hotel has cancellation rules, but we expect agreements to be complied with and communication to be proper – especially in a situation where cancellation is due to serious illness. Unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience.

A cold pleasure.
It was quite a cold pleasure to stay at Brundby Rum og Rooms. We arrived on Saturday to 4 cold rooms. We managed to get some heat in the rooms, so that they were heated for the night. The next morning we all wanted to take a bath, but there was no hot water. It wasn't even lukewarm - but freezing cold. The place had a nice common room where we sat and enjoyed ourselves for a bit on Saturday evening, but most people were wearing outerwear inside.

Jeg beklager meget det kolde vand og ingen varme. Da vi kom hjem efter jeres besøg, fandt vores VVSèr ud af at noget ikke virkeder og det havde åbenbart stået på et stykke tid, men efteråret var varmt.
Men du skrev først til mig da i var taget afsted fra opholdet, så jeg havde ingen mulighed for at få en til at se på det mens i besøgte os,
