hotel with the scent of home

A hotel with the smell of home, great people, great cuisine, pleasant relaxation, with impressive views of Prague and, surprisingly, clean air from the nearby forests, mountains and slopes, because it is located on a hill in a residential area away from dusty traffic and so close to the subway. This hotel has received from its clients Order of the Golden Hotel and Order of the Golden Cuisine in the 2021.

This hotel is not worth 3 stars. Description/price very different. Breakfast staff apparently do not like guests

Booked 20sqm with a double bed. We got a mini room with 2 children's beds. Plus rubbish/dust/lint
/ other people's hair/broken, almost empty soap dispenser/mini TV
No fridge/bright light in the bathroom and living area/safe/air conditioning. The fan in the bathroom was also broken. Not exactly a pleasure with 2 adults.
Kettle or similar not allowed. Coffee/tea should be bought downstairs.
Staff were grumpy/unfriendly/pushy. The room key was left at reception at night, unattended, within reach of everyone. Nobody wants a hotel like that.
And this is supposed to be a 3 star hotel?
Breakfast was good, pool only limited use. Never again here!

Looks pretty but dangerous

I stayed recently at this hotel for five days. This review will address two categories: comfort and safety.
1) fire safety appears to be of a low priority in this hotel. The egress from the top floor is via stairs that have combustible material on them that also partially block the route, the fire extinguishers on my floor weren't where the fire map showed, and were partially hidden on the floor, no emergency exit signs on the top floor and on lower floors were hidden, the kitchen (highest risk for a fire to start) is on the lower ground floor next to the stairs, which is the only egress in the building and would essentially act like a chimney, there are no smoke protection doors at all to protect sleeping accommodation.
2) The things that impacted my comfort and enjoyment were: no lift so had to carry a heavy suitcase up two flights of narrow stairs with no assistance available, the window curtain in the room was totally ineffective at keeping light out as it was too small for the window and made of a flimsy, see-through material, the shower head was too high and pointing at the opposite wall, there is no refrigerator or kettle in the room (was offered access to a kettle in the kitchen down three flights of stairs, challenges with communication as the ladies that run the hotel weren't fluent in English, which resulted in miscommunication and an error that cost me.

Yep, average..

Hotel Parking 100 CZK per day, or on the street for free. Pool is about 7 by 7 meters? - Also much colder than average. Rooms are ok, ours was a bit cluttered with extra chairs which wouldn't be used. The only other niggle is the Waiting Staff who babysit you whilst you try to make breakfast. They also tell you to go put your empty plates on a trolley a couple of meters from the table. Evidently they struggled to pick them up from the tables, unlike 99% of every hotel I have ever stayed. Not all bad though.

beatiful peaceful place

A little hotel a little bit far from Prague's center, but very cosy, very cheap, beatiful view from the restorant to the roofs and park on the hills, a chorus of birds singing around, lilac blossoming, free wi-fi working fast, breakfast included, quite delicious, swimming-pool and gym free. The only drawback - the nearest metro station Jinonice is now under repair
