Exceptional Hotel with amazing staff!!!

Clean and comfortable bathroom, beds and overall great room! Quiet, amazing breakfast included, parking onsite included, you can print your flights and anything you need! Really happy and positive staff, especially the blond receptionist, she was just exceptionally helpful, empathetic and positive with can do attitude! We couldn't choose a better hotel for the value. Restaurants and Albert groceries were just within 2 mins walk from there!!

Worst experience of my life

The worst place I've ever slept and once slept on an empty beer box outdoors.
Very small, dirty and without basic services (the shower without support, breakfast with market biscuits, electricity that is missing if you turn off the room light ..)
To top it all off a sleepless night given the zero soundproofing and the neighbor who probably bought a particular service. Her "roommate" "screamed" all night until 5.
Congratulations to him, less to the facility. Saving €15 was not worth it

Problemy

Problems with the parking, the street is full, you have to search the place, I had the car door scratched. During the night, drunk people are screaming and vomitting, rather noisy place. Lot of tourists from the east Europe.

Was once a great hotel, now ... not so much

Star nr1 is for the very friendly and accommodating staff, star2 is for the general location, cosy atmosphere and cleanliness. We didn't take breakfast, so can't comment on that, but what really bugs me is decades old plumbing. There are two main requirements I have from a hotel, and that's a good bed and a good shower. I fell through the slats of the bed, not doing anything I shouldn't ... and the shower is just a disaster. No thermostatic tap = constantly varying water temperature and a blast of scalding hot water as soon as anyone opens the cold tap too much ( or a couple of them at the same time). This is a low cost upgrade and a clear sign of a hotel living in its former glory days. Fix those please and I'd love to come back!
PS: maybe add another half star for pet friendliness...

Good choice

We stayed in the hotel for few days. It was so clean. There were fresh towels and beddings. You can find hairdrier, fully equiped bar, TV and central heating in the room. The room was cleaned every day. The receptionists were really nice and helpful. It's about 1 km from the metro station. You can find bars, supermarket and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
