Large and quiet room in the city center. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of warm and cold choices. Great location close to all the sights and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice and spacious room, plenty of space for a family of 4, mostly in good shape. I liked that it was a small hotel and the location was perfect in walking distance to everything. Friendly staff always willing to help. Breakfast was a bit limited, but fine quality, as expected for a small hotel.

Little bit outdated.
Breakfast in a weird beerstub-type cellar restaurant. The selection varied on each day.

Good, functional hotel in central location. Room quite compact, but comfortable and modern. Good modern bathroom. Good breakfast.

BAD EXPERIENCE

Avoid this hotel if you value customer service.
Our experience with Residence U Vejvodu, managed by Prague Inn, was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
On July 2, eleven days before our arrival, we contacted the hotel through their chat to ask about the possibility of an early check-in. We explained that we would be arriving after a long journey and simply needed a clear answer so we could plan our day.
We never received one.
The chat is, in our experience, completely ineffective. It seems to exist only to encourage reservations, not to actually help guests. We received automated replies and vague responses, but no one was willing to give us a simple yes or no. If you need real assistance before your stay, do not rely on their chat.
When we arrived on July 13, after hours of traveling, we were told we would have to wait another seven hours before our room would be ready.
Let me be very clear. We are not complaining because early check-in was unavailable. We understand that room availability cannot always be guaranteed. We are complaining because the hotel completely ignored our requests for over a week and failed to communicate honestly. A simple message saying, “Unfortunately, early check-in will not be possible,” would have allowed us to organize our day differently.
Instead, we arrived tired, carrying luggage, with no plan because the hotel chose not to answer.
The situation became even more disappointing because of the receptionist, Thomas (Tomas). When we explained that waiting another seven hours after such a long trip was extremely frustrating, he laughed. There was no empathy, no apology, no willingness to help, and not even the courtesy of taking our concern seriously. His attitude made us feel as though our inconvenience was something to laugh about.
This is not hospitality.
Hospitality is about communication, professionalism, respect, and treating guests like people, not reservation numbers.
After staying in hotels across Europe, I can confidently say this was among the poorest examples of customer service we have experienced. We would never stay here again, and we cannot recommend it to anyone who expects basic communication and respectful treatment.
If I could give zero stars, I would.
