Well-maintained budget place in a great location

This place is in a great location: walking distance from the historic centre and the main shopping boulevard with a tram stop and the main train station nearby for exploring further afield. The people who deal with bookings and guests are friendly, approachable and helpful. The building and my studio were very clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the area for relaxing (sofa and the reading lamp), to which I was really looking forward, has not materialised. I suppose it would be present in apartments with 1 bedroom and more. But then it shouldn't have been mentioned in the list of room amenities. The studio was tiny with a shaky table and 2 hard chairs. I did look into the 1 bdrm apartment when it was being cleaned, and it had a decent size living area with a sofa.

good value

check-in office is about 10mins walk from the apartment, but it's not bad for a walk, the location is excellent, very close to everything, and there is a bubble tea shop cross the street. Highly recommanded!!

Quiet Retreat

We had a great short stay in Prague.
Our apartment was clean and well equipped. Close to the sights of Prague, public transport and great local cafes and restaurants. A quiet and cosy place to retreat to after a busy day of sightseeing.
Check-in and check-out were an easy process. Staff were responsive, and accommodating to our late arrival due to our flight being significantly delayed.
Would stay here again.

Long review but worth reading

The location is what we love about this apartment -- at the heart of Prague, stone-throw distance to everything. However, other than this we don't have anything else to add to give them higher than poor rating. In our booking, it states that the check in starts at 3pm. We arrived at the property around 4pm. The door is closed and nobody is at the reception. I have sent them email, while we kept on ringing the bell. We were outside with our luggages, tired from our 7-hour trains travel with 2 impatient kids. It was raining and it was getting really cold. As I don't have any other option, we kept on ringing the bell and occassionally knocking the door. Finally after 20 minutes, a lady opened the door but she is not working for the property. She is working on the adjacent coffeeshop. We were at least inside to sit even at the stairs and will not feel much cold especially the kids. There is only one chair at the reception so my kids just settled to sit by the stairs. I called the number posted at the reception. I was informed they will be there in half an hour. My kids are becoming cranky at that time and getting hungry but we have no choice but wait as we have our luggages (for a family of 5!) with us that we cannot carry along.
A lady came after 26minutes, finally! She brought us to our apartment. The apartment is neat and clean. 2 BR, 1 T&B with a tub but no shower head and no shower curtain. We were tired and hungry so we immediately went down to look for a place to have dinner. We spend some time in the Christmas market which is just walking distance from the property. When we turned back, we found out that the apartment heater is not working.
Let me reiterate this time that they have no receptionist! They have provided number to call. Separate for daytime and nighttime. Since it's late, I called the hotline. They were quick to answer and accommodated our request. I must say their customer service is excellent but delivery is poor. The customer service said he would come in half an hour or come back to me for resolution. Nobody came! I have 2 young kids whom I had to send to sleep on thermal clothes to combat the 2 degrees Celsius temperature (very uncomfortable!). I continuously called them until midnight but nobody picked up. As soon as we woke up, I called them to complain. They sent someone who checked and said it should work fine. We immediately left to roam around the city. We came back in the night to find out the heater ain't working still. I called them again but no response this time. I sent them email, no response! Instead I received auto generated email thanking us for choosing the property. I did not bother calling in the morning anyway we are leaving.
The management of this property should seriously consider posting receptionist just like any other properties in cities boasting their tourism. Waiting for almost an hour outside the property with tired kids while it's raining and having to brave 1-3 degreesC cold is totally unacceptable. Moreso having to spend 2 nights without heater in Prague winter.
When booking this property, be sure to read all the relative reviews to avoid disappointment.
