The hotel has a vintage old style vibe..
The room was clean enough, but it could be better.
The male receptionist and his wife were very kind and helpful, while the night-shift receptionist was terrible, mean and very disrespectful.
However, the hotel is only two minutes away from a bus stop to the town center and this is a plus

Expensive but reasonable value for money. Best thing was that there was a fridge in my room and it worked well.
3 criticisms though.
Firstly, there should have been tea/coffee making facilities in my room.
Secondly, the TV only had Czech-langauge channels. The BBC World News channel was not available.
Thirdly, my room had not been cleaned properly as there were some small bits of litter left there by the previous occupant.

Avoid at all expense and look elsewhere

What an absolute disappointment, we booked through a third party as we’re visiting a few countries. Thankfully it was a short stay.
We’re not usually ones to complain as long as the room is clean we will make do as we see it as a place to sleep at night but I’d advise anyone to avoid like the plague.
Firstly we booked a double room and we were given a twin room and when we asked at the reception we were told there are no double rooms (advertised on their website) and were told to push the beds together.
The room was incredibly basic and filthy, I have seen public toilets cleaner than the bathroom. The bedding was stained and the pillows and duvets had seen better days and had stains on what I don’t even want to think about.
Carpets were threadbare and had stains and burn marks all over. The armchair was fit for the tip and needed a biohazard warning and was torn. One of the beds was broken and had loose wood at the foot of the bed.
The bathroom needed a good scrub and re- grouting and the floor had pubic hairs and other gross bits on.
There was no tv (advertised) in the room but we never watch one whilst we’re away as we play games. It did have a safe which was a plus side.
The shower was hot and powerful but didn’t stay in its holder and sprayed the bathroom so you had to hold it, which isn’t the end of the world.
Our room was situated on the road and was noisy.
I didn’t sleep well and woke up itching and had to take antihistamine as I had bites.
Unfriendly staff who were rude and unhelpful.
There is a shell garage were you can purchase hot drinks and an Albert supermarket 5 minutes walk away for cheap food and drink.
I sent my photos to my daughter who’s a student and she likened it to the worst kind of dodgy student accommodation.

Nightmare hotel – fingers off!

The hotel's cleaning service was incredibly poor! I spent five days here and our bed linen was not changed once! There were no towels in the rooms; it seemed the cleaning staff were not working at all. As soon as you enter the room, you are greeted by dust, dirt and unpleasant smells.
Breakfast was a real nightmare! Knives, forks and plates were covered with stains as if they had never been washed. Breakfast itself was disgusting – trying to eat was a pain.
The staff were completely disinterested and rude; nothing could be helped with. Staying at the hotel was almost worse than not being there at all.
I can definitely not recommend this place; you are wasting your money and time. If you want a clean and pleasant accommodation, definitely stay away!
