A fine little hotel

I spent a night at the Oddech hotel during a trek in the Giant Mountains. The hotel is quiet and clean, the landlord is a friendly guy, the dinner was fine in a rustic way and the breakfast smorgasbord lavish. An excellent value for money.

You should to visit

This hotel is very cozy and staff is polite. Just don't even bother to go to local pubs where everything is closed around 20.30... you should to come here. It's the first place around, when you can order in english, without any problem
Mjesce warte odwiedzenia, bardzo przytulne i personel niesamowicie przyjazny, czego brakuje w okolicy. Jeśli chcesz wyskoczyć gdzieś na piwko po 20.30 to nie marnuj czasu na poszukiwaniach, gdyż prawie wszystlo jest zamknięte, tylko wpadnij do ODDECHU. Zdecydowanie polecam!

Good base for hiking

Oddech (rest in English) hotel is the only new build hotel in upper Pec pod Snezkou area. All the others are old, wooden building with much less comfort. Oddech has sauna, gym etc. It's in very nice location up the hill over Pec pod Snezkou.
There is a free parking area next to hotel, but you must pay the entrance to national park (20CZK, less then 1 EUR). Hotel is in ideal location for hiking in Krkonose. Rooms in front of hotel have view to Snezka, highest mountain in Czech.
The price for room is 550 CZK (about 20EUR !) per night including breakfast (buffet) and dinner (always only one menu - soup, main and dessert)
We stayed for a nice May weekend with friends there. We can't complain about anything (maybe only it's non-smoking hotel :-) Definitely would like to go there again for spring/summer weekend and hiking. I can't say anything about winter, as I don't ski.

Pěkné okolí, ale zastaralé vybavení, slabé služby a neodpovídající cena.

Okolí hotelu je opravdu krásné a nabízí spoustu možností na procházky, ale samotný pobyt mě bohužel zklamal. Úroveň služeb je spíše pod průměrem – úklid neprobíhal pravidelně, vybavení působilo opotřebovaně a celkový komfort tomu, co si člověk představí pod označením hotel, vůbec neodpovídal. Večer bývá v areálu docela hlučno a pobyt tedy není ideální pro ty, kdo hledají klid a odpočinek.
Jídlo bylo spíše průměrné, nabídka omezená a často se opakovala. Personál byl sice ochotný, ale celkově je pobyt hodně předražený vzhledem k tomu, co za cenu dostanete. Za mě tedy spíš zklamání – místo hezké, ale služby a poměr cena/výkon neodpovídají.

super!!!

byl jsem pouze na jednu noc ale vše bylo perfektní, ubytování jednoduší ale čisté s krásným výhledem na Sněžku a jídlo/snídaně a večeře/ bylo velmi dobré s velmi příjemným personálem, okolí samozřejmě nádherné, těším se znovu na návštěvu
