Nice stay

Review: I stayed two nights in this hotel, double bedroom with quiet bathroom large and clean, good and plentiful breakfast, friendly and always helpful staff, the hotel is close to the center that can be reached on foot, very affordable prices.

Very bad

Our experience very very very bad. My partner booked this hotel and once we arrived and paid for the room for one night, we came to our room and after not even 10min left. The room smelled very bad, dirt was everywhere even on carpets in front of the room. We have put email if we could get some refund after staying only for 10min, but was refused.

The worst hotel I have seen in my life

Horrible hotel. In one week they didn’t change the sheets. Rooms without a furniture. I was feeling in the jail. Rude staff. Not clean. Below the standard of a civil standard hotel. The restaurant room smells of dirty. The lift looks like a goods lift and often doesn’t work.

Poor hotel in a good location. The reception worked, the personnel otherwise do not know what the word service means. They are not

Stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. It was cheap but not worth the money. The room was not cleaned once during our stay. Towels were changed at 8 in the morning. Knocking in the room. The hotel is worn, dirty and smells bad. The breakfast in the basement room was sad.

Hotel Amphone revisited

No lift to 4th floor then steep climb stairs from 3rd floor to 4th and no working light when dark (bring your own torch). Steep steps on entering room to bedroom and bathroom-should have a warning sign.
Water on bedroom floor and one of the beds caused by window in roof being left open, had to mop it myself even though reported it to reception. Also likelihood of banging head on sloping ceiling.
Portable air con unit adequate but very noisy as was noise from nearby lift. Impossible to sleep at any time. 30degrees C both in and outside the room
Inadequate supply of food at breakfast on first morning and dirty plates etc not cleared away.
Hinge broke on toilet seat, reported to reception nothing done about it.
Using the men’s toilet near reception - the lock for the toilet door was jammed in the open position
Allowed to have extended check out time to 5pm at cost of czk300
